Good free option for simple time tracking.

I use this to motivate myself to work, especially when I need to work on several very different areas at a time. It does a good job at that. Would consider paying if I need more complex tracking

Should advise that free version is only 5 timers. It started out great….

9/22/16: Previously loved this app but the latest update is horrible. Buggy. Overall tracking bar is missing time entered. When changing timers the screen will flicker. Just a bad update. Old review: This is the best work hour tracking app that I have found. Update: the more I use it the better I like it! 06/03/24: still think this is the best app for tracking hours. 7/10/25: bugs have been fixed. Back to being a very good app for free.

Really like the new interface. Now if only there was a way to ‘lock’ time zones when traveling...

Update after many many years of tracking hours, still using every day. I have been using this app to track all kinds of projects at work and at home. Easy to use with nice user interface

Excellent- Simple

I’ve been using the hours app for several years and there couldn’t be a simpler or more user friendly client or project timer. The ease of moving from one client or another, or expert of reporting for client time backup is fast and powerful. Highly recommend! NK

I’ve been running my whole small business on Hours for years. Syncing between the web, Mac and phone is breeze. I do wish it had some more integrations and features but for my purposes it’s worth its weight in gold for the monthly sub. I’d be lost without it.
