Not worth buying
I’m trying to do a simple job reordering a few rooms in my house and this seemed like a simple app that would get the job done but there are a few key limitations that hamper your ability to use this app. The first thing that irritated me was that there seemed to be some sort of limitation in how far you could zoom in. I don’t know if this is a cultural thing but here in Europe we have relatively small houses so when you’re trying to get detail on the size of small things in small rooms it is important to zoom in a bit more. The second thing that really irked me was that you can’t manually specify sizes of things. You can’t select a wall and say that it’s 305cm, instead you have to find the really awkward drag handles on the corner of the wall and slowly drag it until it is at the right size. This would have been made easier if I could use the Apple Pencil to drag the items to the right size but using the pencil doesn’t register as clicks for some reason. The final straw that stopped me from using this app is the fact that it doesn’t have the ability to add a window or a door to the walls of any rooms. I’m trying to delicately balance the space that I have and a huge majority of that in my small rooms is the space needed for the door to open. If you can’t add real doors to a floor plan app then it is just useless and not fit for purpose. Avoid this app and don’t waste your money.
