I have been using this app in frequently for a number of years. And have found it to be excellent. However I will never ever pay a subscription for software. For the record I would be happy to pay a one off charge. I have deleted this app from my phone and not expect to receive any charges

With all the inconsistencies and regional variations in how words are spelt and pronounced, English language can be tricky even for advanced level speakers. And that’s when this app comes in handy. It’s a huge repository of words with British and American pronunciations(and sometimes French too) clearly articulated by the voice. I’ve been using this app for at least 5 years now and I must say I've become an even more confident English speaker. I use this app whenever I have the slightest doubt about the correct pronunciation of any words. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic app with a real voice used to pronounce words not computer generated. This is my go to app when in doubt how to pronounce a word. It’s fabulous, each word spoken by a person often with alternate pronunciation.

Gives you the American version as well.....has taught me how to pronounce so many words that I had mispronounced all this while!!!

Very accurate and useful tool, whenever you are stuck on pronunciation. Great voice, easy to hear and easy to understand.

Helps answer a lot of questions about pronunciation especially if I’ve only read the word

Every self-educated person should have this app. We all pronounce words we read rather than hear. The app has a clear speaking English accent and is _very_ comprehensive. I was pronouncing "Aeschylus" incorrectly all my life until I heard it in this app. Get it without hesitation!
