Hoya Reviews

Not teen oriented

Thrift148 on

United States

As a teen you definitely don’t want hook ups and also teens can’t even use this app as it is an 18+ app making it a non teen app 18 classifies as an adult so the ap should be 14-17 as this are the proper teen ages

You need to pay to chat and meet people.

Help

I downloaded this app under the impression that I would find matches. However, without a subscription you cannot view messages or likes sent to you. Although the app is advertised as free. You also cannot send messages without the subscription so I am confused as to how you are supposed to meet people on this app.

The app is okay but I decided I didn’t want to be on it and there was no option to delete my account. I want it deleted

A lot of potential, but major issues.

Alright so I downloaded your app because it came up on the advertising (good advertising platform). Once I downloaded the app I noticed a significant amount of issues that makes this application dangerous. Problem 1: There is not verification of age process and even worse is that the age you put is not locked. Meaning people can simply lie about their age. Solution 1: Create two separate brackets, one for 18+ and the other for under 18. This should mitigate a massive risk factor within the two age groups. Have your age locked, once you put in your age, it stays that way forever. Reason 1: Now more than ever, we cannot stress the importance of safety on the internet. Your app must make sure to have these clear separations of age groups noted to prevent predatory activities. Problem 2: No delete feature is present within your app. Solution 2: Add delete feature in the app Reason 1: There are some people who will not like your app and as such may want to delete it. By allowing the user to delete your app, it will help prevent cluttering your server with inactive accounts.

Potential

It’s got potential, it’s hard for me as a young queer to make friends or find a boyfriend— which adds on to why this is only 2 stars, can’t select which gender you want to swipe on and i don’t like women lol.

Age range

queen_venus0 on

United States

I was born 2007 and it only goes up to 2005. I see so many revealing this and you should put it up to at least 2010. The age range that you’re advertising is so false so please fix it as soon as possible
