The app is quite basic. Functions ok, but needs to be updated to show pending transactions.

Needs to make the correct balance instantly when a payment is made
Difficult to use
Why is this so different to the HSBC uk app? I cannot see pending transactions, payees that I used to send faster payments to or direct debits/standing orders. I used to bank with Nat West and their app had all the same features as the HSBC UK app.
Rubbish interface
Terrible, app - hasn’t changed in years. So old fashioned, especially with revolut and monzo apps being so good. I.e easy transfers, graphs etc and stuff to visualise spending. Easy savings ‘pots’ with interest and ISA options- good over seas exchange rate and super easy stocks now too. Hsbc app is shocking in comparison.
Can’t see transactions instantly
Must be the only banking app where you can’t see transactions straight away (pending)
CIIOM Lacking Options
The app used to be brillaint but they then changed it to CIIOM and no longer has half the services or options as the general app. Very poor in comparison, I have applied for a loan before on the app and no longer have the option to do this.
Rubbish
Shocking app can’t see my cards in app never deducts your money as you spend think this app needs a massive overhaul
No option to change ac names
Having multiple accounts with very similar (default) names is very confusing. These should be able to be edited by the user to easily identify what the accounts are for
