Looks like bank app from 10 years ago , barely can do anything on it.

On this version you cannot send secured messages to Hsbc to update your travel plans, and even tho selecting to transfer to a payee, only shows your account as beneficiary.

HSBC even though sometimes conservative keeps the security of their clients foremost. The app experience is smooth and seamless. Hopefully apple pay will come to the qatar HSBC soon.

Things you can’t do on the HSBC Qatar app: 1. Can’t add international beneficiaries 2. Can’t make transfers between your global HSBC accounts on the app 3. No more Qatar Mobile payments (HSBC QR stopped all QMP) 4. No virtual or one time cards (great fir internet usage) 5. You can’t change your profile details on the app. 6. Can’t submit notice that you’re travelling overseas. They don’t support Apple/Samsung/Google pay on their cards and have no intention of adding this functionality. You can do all of those with other Qatari banks and apps. There is only one reason to use HSBC QR and that is if you have other HSBC accounts around the globe. You can at least transfer to these accounts from their online banking immediately and for free. The limited functions on the app work well. That’s why it’s two stars and not one. But the app itself is limited and basic and just not up to standard compared to other HSBC apps and other banking apps.

That app is too limited regarding bank transfers. It also takes too much time to credit the amount in the beneficiary account.

Nice simple app but can’t really do much with the app such as writing travel plans or adjusting names on the account

I have. So called Premier account, but it does no have any benefits. When I go to the local branch for services I end up doing everything myself.

Useless bank Payments are always withheld till the next working day even if submitted 1st thing in the morning.

This is the most pathetic bare bones basic app ever. If I didn’t have to transfer money to my accounts in the US and UK, I would be using pen and paper.

Simple and clean app. Not to many options kept clear and work’s very well. Face ID just works seamlessly.
