Description

We created a Sound and Light Scape system which is unpredictable (no looping sounds), highly customisable and versatile in it's setup. Hue Haunted House contains high quality audio effects with beautifully synced lighting to create the perfect eerie mood.
Hue Haunted House offers the following scary themes to choose from:
- Creepy Cave
Dripping stones, scary bats and ferocious monsters haunt you while you wander through the corridors of this dark cave. Did you take the right turn 10 minutes ago? Sure you are not lost?...
- Grisly Graveyard
This is definitely a place where you do not want to be. Zombies stray over this graveyard while rain and wind make you shiver. Or is it the fear in your body? A distant church reminds you you are not far from safety. But why can it's bell be heard so often and irregular? Isn't that odd?
- Demon Dollhouse
Dolls are sweet aren't they? So you would say... This dollhouse is full of evil. So evil, It makes the small dolls cry. Or are they possessed as well? Something is very wrong, that's for sure.
- Eerie Forest
This is a spine-chilling forest. Birds give the impression of some peace. But don't be fooled. Weird creatures also roam this place. Is that the wind in the trees you hear? Sounds of raven are never a good sign...
- Frightening Pursuit
You're running but it seems you don't progress. What is it you flee from? Not knowing is the worst. But one thing is for sure. You don't want it to catch up with you, then you'll suffer the same faith as that poor little fluffy creature which wasn't fast enough.
- Distressing Dungeon
Locked up, nobody knows why. Damp and dark you scream for help but the only reaction you get is your own echo. Doors open and close, chains rattle around you. Nobody there to help you out. Will it end here?
- Abandoned Fairground
This must be the weirdest place on earth. Fairgrounds look so gruesome when abandoned. Once a place of joy and laugh, now a spooky ground where some machines still try to entertain you as you pass by. Sounds of the past appear out of nothing. As if ghosts and spirits are still on a roller coaster ride. Is that a clown I hear?
- Haunted House
Whispers around you make your heart beat faster, while you walk through this old house with it's creaky floors and doors. Thunder bursts concentrated above the house making cats and other animals scream. After every door you think you found the exit, but every door leads to another room with new surprises. Most of them not so pleasant. Wish you haven't been so curious and never entered this Haunted House?
- Hell Fire
When you open your eyes from whats seems like a nap, flames warm your body from below. Standing on top of a big rock you look at the bubbling Lava. Where to go? Fireballs shoot all over the place. You see some phantoms who fail to dodge them. Distant screams make the place even more horrific. You can just hope this is a very bad dream.
- Gloomy Ghosts
Have you ever seen a ghost? Some say they do. But in this place you can hear them for sure. Have a look around, maybe you see or feel them. It's said that if you feel a sudden cold, a ghost might just pass you. Or even fly right through you. Look out! On your left!
- Sinister Strings
When you enter the Opera house, the theater hall is dark and there's nobody on the podium. These instruments seem to play themselves! It's an orchestra without direction. I think there are too many false notes being played here..
- Witch Hunt
Screeching laughter so typically for witches. A lot of them are gathered to discuss new spells and recipes. The winner of last year's soup competition is already cooking this years soup. The ingredients are gore and not so typical. Make sure you do not end up in the boiling cauldron in the middle of the square.
- Pirate Ship
Arr aaaaaargh. This is not the average pirate ship. This one is haunted. We suspect ghost are glooming around the rudder.
- Lurid Laboratory
Not Dexter, not DeeDee but evil forces brew here.

Hue Haunted House Reviews

Basic and boring

Spend your money on one of the much better apps.

AirPlay 2 Still Broken

Great timing to realize that the AirPlay 2 functionality that worked perfectly fine the last couple of years no longer works in this version that apparently was supposed to fix it. At least if you are on iOS 16. Terrible timing. Great app when AirPlay 2 works but the creep vibe to the party just died with the ability to only have sound coming from one device. Five stars when fixed.

My wife loves it.

With nine hue lamps, a light strip, and a Bluetooth speaker in the front of the house, we are dialed in for all seasons. First app review I’ve ever left, that’s how please I am with it.

I like it

I’ve tried several different apps for Hue. This producer’s apps are easily the best overall. Easy to use. Very customizable. Fun. Wired great for Halloween. Some apps want more money for less choices and sometimes very complicated settings. This year I ran the app for the front of our home and put a Bluetooth speaker in the window. I don’t know about everyone else, but I liked it. I’ll be looking forward to trying their other apps.

Do not buy

Don’t listen to the negative reviews, I just tried this for the outside lights & speakers…it works great!

I spent several hundred dollars a few years ago to buy Philips’ pricey hardware to enable the Hue system. And then for some unfathomable reason I hesitated to purchase this under $5 app. What a silly, silly decision! Hue Haunted House is a delightful little romp of an app. Purchase it on the iTunes Store, connect it to your Hue system by launching the app and then connecting it to the Hue Bridge by pressing the Bridge’s center button and it simply works (MAY work in Bridge-less Hue Bluetooth environments - I just don’t know). I was even able to connect it to my Sonos system with hardly any effort at all: two button presses on my iPhone. Believe me, if you can configure Hue to begin with, this won’t be hard. Hue Haunted House has massive customization capabilities. Want more frequent or louder witches, for instance? Just move the two sliders just for that one light/sound effect, one of ~8 effects for each of the ~12 pre-packaged groups. Simple, immensely fun, and worth every penny. The app is not perfect, of course. I wish it had seamless integration with Hue’s motion sensor so that it could burst lights and sounds when the victims, err children, come to my door. I would ask for individual bulb control or scene rotation. And I would definitely ask for more scenes that use traditional Halloween colors like orange, red, and brown. But don’t let these nits dissuade you: Philips Hue was never created because we *need* 16 million colors on our front porches. They were created for having fun. And Hue Haunted House delivers fun with a capital F!

Joke

Didn't work with iOS 14 and is even worse on 15. Would be cool if it actually worked, but only 24 of our 56 Hue bulbs light up. Our other Hue app's, while maybe not the greatest, at least manage to illuminate all of our bulbs. Submitted request to be refunded by Apple for defective app. Waste of time.

AMAZING!!

Would love to see more scenes and gradient support :)
