I am a landscaper who has installed your product on multiple jobs, including my own home. Seems that with the update the app won’t allow the product to organically swift between manual and automatic. I’ve had a client’s garden completely destroyed because she manually turned on the system, which over rode the automatic system that had been in place for months. Sadly she went away over summer without realizing the override had happened and her garden was destroyed as the
System didn’t run as per usual. This has also happened with our home system. It’s a disaster. No one has contacted us back and I’m never installing another system from you again. I’ve also advised every supplier in Victoria, Australia of the same issues and advised them NOT TO RECOMMEND to landscapers or specialists.

I have the Hunter BTT controller version 6.1.34.
This "upgrade" has serious problems. Please remedy ASAP.
Unreliable after last update (Feb 2023)
The last update makes the product a touch better than just having a tap that doesn’t cost $200.
App update borked
My BTT has gone from simple and reliable to completely useless with the latest app update.
It either doesn’t detect the unit, or detects and connects but doesn’t turn on the water.
I’m not sure why, but the flow rate also seems to have been affected.
Pathetic and buggy app
Avoid this app and system at all costs. First controller kept on crashing the app. Second controller and even though I set watering every day it says next watering cycle is in two weeks! Hunter Support says we are aware and will be fixing the app soon… it hasn’t been updated in 4 years which says something. I will be sending this back to the retailer for a full refund, does not do what it says it will do. Extremely disappointed.
Until the app breaks
This is a great unit up until the point where the app crashes. To fix that, you need to factory reset. Guess how you do that… yup, down several menus in the app, by which point, it will have crashed.
Judging by the reviews, this seems to have been an issue for a number of years with no sign of an improved app. Don’t buy from Hunter. Complete waste of money.
App crashes on iPhone all the time!
This app continues to crash on my iPhone SE which is using IOS version 17.2.1 and on my previous iPhone 6. Consider how you are going to connect to you device as often I can’t because the app has crashed. It’s so disappointing as it’s such a great product
Hunter BTT good but with little niggles
My Hunter BTT is great for watering l, however I my iPhone app it keeps telling me no timer is available—move within 10 metres, when I am standing right next to the timer and it IS available on another screen of the app. Please get this up to a 5 star app by fixing annoying niggles such as this. I hate flaky apps.
Not helpful
Just throws you right out of the app , I can connect to it but then can’t do anything else before it throws me out of the app.
Total waste of time and money
The only reason I gave this product one star is because there wasn’t an option to score it zero!!!
