Tried to report harvest multiple times . App does not allow me to do so .

I’m never quick to make the digital transition to things life but I was optimistic about this one. Turns out my optimism was misguided. This app is very fussy and glitchy when trying to report a harvest. I tried 3 times to report and finally got it on the fourth try, although I’m not sure how. I just kept pressing my finger all over the screen to submit responses. Very frustrating and it’s too bad. The process from what I can see has a lot of promise when it comes to simplifying things. But the glitches and hang-ups are very frustrating.

Multiple login attempts and the app never recognizes my profile, unable to login, ever. I can login to the DEC via the web, but not via the app.

Harvest reports on this app are horrendous. If, and seriously IF I can get a report done on the app, it often doesn’t show in the system. Most of the time though I cannot get past the county search because it won’t let me click on the one I harvested in. A tap results in a different county. Frustrating. I end up just signing into my license account online and doing it there. No issues. Up your game or ditch the app, NYS.

Put in my name drivers license and I can’t find, New York State in this thing! Every other state but New York! I had to type that part in fill out everything like I was supposed to, still would not let me sign up

I work in IT. I am not technically challenged and I have even created my own apps. This app probably works 10% of the time. I can't log in at the moment to see my current tags. Username and password are correct, hit the login button and nothing. No redirect, no loading, just nothing. Totally useless. NYS has a 200 billion dollar budget and they can't make a reliable working license management app. Great use of my tax dollars.

Every app will have glitches and problems. Everyone has had their favorite game glitch out and disappear. This however was a bad idea. NYS is trying to force people to go digital - and do away with back tags. The result will be an increase in poaching, negative interactions between hunters and wildlife officers (due to glitches - which this app has plenty of), and general frustration. Digital ID from a bad app = major L. Do yourself a favor - print your license to PDF and save it on your phone (since that’s how they’re checking) and print a hard copy. This app is a coin toss on if it wants to work. Don’t risk it.

Can’t log in. Error code. Have to go to the website or click forgot password. Then in the website you log in same user and password and it works. Junk.

This app is junk. It won’t even let me login… it just freezes on me. Every time. Glad to see my taxes and hunting fees are being put to good use. Typical government quality here.

As soon as I try to create a profile the app will close.
