UX needs improvement

I’m looking at a replacement for H2Guru since it isn’t being maintained and it no longer syncs with SOSS. This app has some issues/limitations: Takes too long to open (>3 seconds “Loading Data”) No sort settings with filter. I would rather have the list sorted by distance than alphabetical when filtering by distance (“near me”). No obvious way to bookmark a station (apparently I have to take a survey first? Just let me tap a heart or star icon on the station or something). Here’s my ultimate goal: one tap of the app icon and it shows me the status (and capacity) of my favorite station(s) and the other nearest ones around me, within 2 seconds. This takes too many presses and too many seconds.

Great app

Hit or miss if it loads, usually goes directly to blank screen and if you keep trying it sometimes loads and works like normal

Where is the pricing information?

This app is pretty useful, but it would really be great if the dollars per kilogram feature worked. But I can’t figure out how to get it to work. Hopefully the can developer can chime in and point the way. In the settings, it looks like there is a way to set that option, but I don’t see how to save that option. With the cost of fuel being so expensive, a price comparative tool would certainly be very useful.

Good, could be great

I just learned about this app even though I’ve had my fuel cell car for over a year. It is very useful so far and an excellent way to share information. Two more capabilities would make it a great app: - Ability to make locations “favorite” so they are on top of the list to facilitate access to info; and - A graphic of a stations hydrogen inventory over time, say a month, so that there is better visibility into availability. How many times have you driven to a station just as it was going offline due to lack of hydrogen? Maybe these features are there and I haven’t found them yet, I’m new to the app, as I said. But I’m really grateful for all the info already at my fingertips with Hygo. Edited: After hearing from the developer, changed to 5 stars. The capabilities I requested are there, in a fashion, which makes the app more useful. A longer inventory look back period would still help IMO.

Good app, now even better

EDIT: The new version is nicely enhanced in both function and appearance, nice work! One feature I miss is the Busy Times graphic. It was helpful for planning. I’ve used HYGO much more than the cafcp.com mobile site. HYGO is essential for FCEV owners. And the infrastructure is getting more reliable lately. Hmmm. Having this info in the hands of drivers probably helps motivate the H2 distributors to stay “green.” (So to speak.) :) OP: Just got a beautiful 2021 Mirai. My new job is to hunt for hydrogen. Hygo worked well for 2 months before the purchase (to scope out H2 availability) and 2 weeks after purchase (to find online H2 stations for refueling). Suddenly my iPhone stopped trusting the app. Deleted and reinstalled, now working. Appreciate quick response from developer. Suggest the next version include “refresh” in addition to “online” and “offline”—as pausing to repressurize is normal and teaches patience. Serious dispenser or compressor trouble OTOH means “Go elsewhere!”

This is probably the only useful app for hydrogen fueling on Apple devices. It works pretty well too.

Great app for looking for hydrogen

Great app for hydrogen status without launching cafcp or other websites. I would like though if the app supports CarPlay, so I don’t need to take the phone out of my pocket. 😁😁
