Hypertrophy Coach

All of the content in this app is top notch, however I would love for this app to support use on the Apple Watch. I don’t want to bring my phone through the gym, I’d love to track the workouts through the watch but it’s not supported.

Paid 3 different times, each time the app failed and after time said that I didn’t have a membership. The first two times, I received a refund. The last time they ignored me and kept the $249.00.

I’ve tried multiple times and only once I got a payment to go through then the app took be back to the starting point to start a plan. Was looking forward on giving this app a try but I can’t even start it.

The other reviews are still accurate. The content itself is great and the coaches are very responsive. That being said, the content doesn’t even load half the time. This isn’t a problem with Joe but rather the actual developers of the app. If things worked smoothly this would’ve been 5 stars for me

I signed up for 30 days but I keep getting a notification that says “ Hypertrophy coach - validation failed “ I saw other reviews saying that they couldn’t access the content. But I was hoping it would work for me. Sadly no. I will be requesting a refund through Apple.

I created a custom program spanning 12 weeks only to see the exercises within the daily workouts have been changed and then the program itself ultimately got deleted. Very disappointing. I will update this review if support gets back to me and is able to fix this he issues.

Paid for lifetime access to the app. It still says I have no account. I contacted the company repeatedly. No one is writing back or assisting me. I’ll be contesting the charge with my bank tomorrow evening. Don’t waste your money or your time.

Overall the app needs work. The workout and nutrition tracker are very choppy. The content is great from Joe and the team. If the user experience and interface changes entirely, where things are running smooth for programs and nutrition. This would be a 5/5 but right now I’d give the app itself a 2/5 but the content and knowledge that Joe gives is top tier.

I purchased this program as a gift for my husband who is already very skeptical about online coaches but I painted this one completely different for him and finally convinced him to enter in the one year program. Unfortunately we were NEVER able to even begin. My husband didn’t know how to start and looked to get guidance to figure it out by trying many attempts to get in contact with anyone and no one responded to Instagram messages, emails, IG post comments… etc! We tried all the ways of communication and we got zero acknowledgment. It was very discouraging as one of the qualities I sold the program to my husband was that the coach was a Christian man so he surely will honor his concerns with respect and assistance when he needed—none of that happened. $150 for the program might not be much but it was a fortune when we got zero from it! You kinda feel robbed😔

Love how it pulls my weight and reps from the previous week. Very helpful to keep me progressing
