Fallen on hard times, farmer Lewis converts an old bulldozer into a fantastic high-tech “diggin” machine. Help him dig up stuff to sell (60+ unique diggings) in a race against the clock to pay the mortgage and save the farm (campaign mode).
In addition there are 4 mini-game challenge matches, plus open-ended free play mode, offering hours of game play.
Manage fuel, temperature, and damage while searching for diggins. Sell them at the farmhouse to earn cash. Save cash to pay the mortgage, upgrade your digger, or make repairs. Use the on-screen “analog” joystick, or touch-screen to control digger movement. Watch out for rocks and caverns that disrupt your path. Have fun!

Terrible controls

Can buy the original anymore, the controls to this version are terrible, can’t tolerate playing it.

Ok, but needs work

Some improvements over original (had graphics, controller anywhere on screen, not automatically falling down a hole from the surface is a definite plus. The game mechanics are the same- hard work to get sufficient cash to build upgrades initially, so careful choices need to be made. Despite other reviews I was relieved to find that hadn’t changed. On the other hand, really dislike the new display. This is a homemade digger, so control panel should match the storyline (needs to be much more steampunk), and there was no reason to fix the original display. Fuel should not be a different display on a different part of the screen for example. Low tech gauges were good- it is a homemade tractor digger after all- stick to your storyline when making graphic/interface decisions! Hate the new upgrade shop. Definitely not an improvement. And very buggy- typically is blank where cash remaining should be shown, and the exit button also blank. (Works when you first go in, but then is blank after a purchase). Missing the ability to set a depth gauge marker, and disappointed the centre of the earth is gone when you get deep enough. (1985 ft) On the other hand, dynamite is a much more reasonable price- happy with that tweak. So worth getting for iDigIt fans, but hope some of these issues get resolved.

Absolute Waste of Money

Expensive for an app of this type, not user friendly. To give it one star is generous

Absolutely awful

Purchased this because the original is not iOS 11 compliant and this is the worst app I have seen in years. It not user friendly and basically not workable under any circumstances. I want a refund because selling this is just plain unconscionable.

A step backwards!

I don't usually write reviews but after spending almost $5 on an app that I've always liked, I was very excited. Until I started playing. It's too hard. Petrol is too expensive, the hull is too weak and engine heats up to critical almost straight away and there aren't enough items to collect and earn money to be able to upgrade your machine. Until they update it and fix these, don't waste your money or your time. The older game is much better.

Nope! Worse not better!

Afraid the old game ran rings around this one! This has been change for the sake of change and the game has taken a huge leap backwards! The hull/temp limits are far too low and you can't even start a decent dig before you have to surface. The warehouse contents are much more difficult to view and ummmmm, I just don't find it user friendly at all! I'll stick to the old game thanks! It kills this upgrade! Don't touch it! Download the I-Dig-HD game, you will enjoy it ten times as much!
