i-FlashDevice HD FAQ
Is i-FlashDevice HD free?
Yes, i-FlashDevice HD is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is i-FlashDevice HD legit?
⚠️ The i-FlashDevice HD app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The app keeps on crashing or taking hours to transfer/download any photos from my phone & when I put it in the PC it has corrupted a lot of the images, won’t open many others and keeps crashing my computer. Terrible and has little to no instructions so is very limiting. It’s trash & I really wish it wasn’t
Impossible to use?
I bought the device downloaded the app, tried to understand the instructions but whatever I do, I haven’t been able to transfer anything. I wanted to back up my iPhone/iPad photos. App says there is nothing stored on the flash drive - well there would be if I could work out how to do it! Waste of money!
Dave
Flash drive freezes a lot, app was good until I recently got a message to update, so I did, but in doing so, I’ve now lost thousands of photos. Not happy.
Lag
Lags really bad and doesn’t load most images. Handy to be able to plug into your phone but it’s easier just putting it in the computer to view images
Just a USB stick
Cannot connect to device and swap files or photos between phone and laptop, not even the option on the app. Absolute waste of money- complete con.
DO NOT BUY THIS USELESS DEVICE
Completely useless. You can’t even see video files, never mind view them. The only files that show up are PDF but you can’t open them. What a waste of money.
Help
How do I actually work this I brought 15GB data and I’m confused how I use it
Awful product, binned it
Bought the iFlash device to back up my phone when iCloud not available. Software only recognised it intermittently. Worked a few times, then stopped just when I needed a restore. Tried every version of the software, nothing. The app itself sometimes just shuts down when any icon is trapped. Cheap junk, binned, lesson learned. Moved to iXpand instead. Should have been my first move.
Lost money
It does it provide you with storage!? It does not works, lost money!?
Ok for photos
I bought the flash drive and got this app so that I could back up my iPad and iPhone files to Firmware instead of just the cloud. I had assumed like all other forms of storage, that it would appear in the Files as a storage device, like the ‘On my iPad’ and ‘iCloud’ do, but no. After many hours I still cant find out how to back up my files (doc, xls etc) despite the instructions saying it does support these files.
As for the app, it backs up your photos, contacts and apparently music but I daren’t try that. That’s it. It has other options like take a photo and record voice, but that’s what the device does.
This really needs to appear in Files as a storage device so that files can be moved or backed up between them like a storage device is supposed to.
I’ll try to see if there is another app I can use with this storage stick!
