"Best App for Preschool Word Games" -- Best iPhone Apps book, O'Reilly Media
"An application that uses early childhood development theory — great!" -- Daniel Donahoo, GeekDad (Wired)
I See Ewe is an educational game for that helps your preschooler learn to recognize over 50 different shapes, objects, colors and animals, and exposes them to their first sight words. I See Ewe accomplishes this through two simple yet fun and engaging games.
The first game, "Learn Shapes", presents a child with a number of cards, each containing a different item. The game then verbally asks the child to find a specific item amongst the displayed cards while displaying the written form of the specific item's name. The child is successful when they tap on the card with the correct item.
The second game, "Match Shapes", is a memory match game that challenges the child to turn over cards two at a time to find a pair of matching cards.
You are able to adjust the level of difficulty for each game and activate verbal prompts that help your preschool child learn.
I See Ewe has English, German, Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin) languages localizations built in. You can select which language version you want to use in the game options view.
Be sure to visit the I See Ewe website for a detailed description of how to use the app with your preschool child.

I See Ewe FAQ
Is I See Ewe free?
Yes, I See Ewe is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is I See Ewe legit?
🤔 The I See Ewe app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
My 2 years old daughter always ask to play with it, she finds it very fun and she is learning loads everyday through it. Having different language option is a really good idea although I wish there was a French version. The fact you can set the difficulty and theme (object/animal/color/shape) makes it totally worth it. £0.59 is a real bargain for what you get.
Great Preschool App
Great app for preschool children, my 2.9yr old loves playing it when we are at restaurants etc. As nursery children are taught words in LOWER case I would like to see the words for the animals, objects etc in lower case (comic sans font has the right shaped letters). With lower case letters I would have given 5 stars :)
Absolutely fab!
Do you gave a 2 year old? If so then this is the app. I have downloaded about 5 like this but is by far the best. It shows you various pictures and says find the horse, so you kid has to touch the horse and it then makes a horse noise. Very pleased, well worth it, my daughter loves it. The app gets up dated too, thanks for the last one! Keep it up please. You won't be dissappointed, promise
Doesn’t work
Paid to download only to learn that this app doesn’t work ☹️
Please update
The kids absolutely loved this app when it worked. Can you please update it??
Update to most recent iOS for iPhone
Please update this app for the newest iOS for iPhone so that I can use for speech therapy and work on identification of vocabulary. Thank you!
App developers need to update in order for me to use
Only after I purchased this app for my son, was I informed the developers need to update it to work with my Apple software version iPhone. I was charged yet I’m still unable to use this app. This sounds like information that should be displayed before a purchase goes through, and not only after a purchase has been made and charged.
1 YO Grandson Loves this
He is totally mesmerized by this app. When he just wants some quiet time we sit down and go through all the sounds of animals and vehicles.
Good game but has some glitches
My 21 month old loves this game. It's great for teaching animals and shapes. For some reason though, it will act as though my son touched one if the squares and say "That's not it" when he hasn't. It happens just about every time. If this could be fixed, I would give it 5 stars!
Great App
This app is related to I Hear Ewe, but this is a quiz version. It has a match game and a "pick" game, which gives you 4 choices and asks you to pick the correct one (for example, "Where is the sheep?"). This categories includes objects, colors, animals, geometric shapes, and a random feature. Within each category, you can choose which items to display. For example, in geometric shapes, you can turn off clover, cross, octagon, and pentagon if your child isn’t ready for those yet. There are a lot of customization features with this app.
