Add perfume disability

I am allergic to perfume. I would like to know what spaces are and are not safe for me.

Good, but needs tweaks

I try to give detailed reviews but the app limits to 500 characters, and when reviewing lodging I give info on layout of rooms, how the bathrooms are, parking, location ect. If it was to get bumped to 1,000 it would be more efficient. Also if they had an option to have tidbits on specific cities, such as where I live in San Antonio all the public parking garages accessible parking is free downtown. Where the are places in downtown location areas there are to take service dogs for relief areas, something cities fail to take into account all the time.

It takes a village

Love this app! I wish we could add photos to our reviews. Hopefully more people in my area will start actively rating places to build the data for Austin, TX. This could be so powerful for our community. I love the vision the creator has about being able to recognize accessible friendly places with an iAccess life decal.

Great app, one request

JBTWL on

This is a great and much needed app. It’s simple to set up and use. I really appreciate the way tie search function uses your location to refine the list to what’s near you; that makes rating a place in the moment a lot easier. The one thing I think would improve the app is tilt ability to add photos to a location review. What’s inaccessible to a wheelchair may still be navigable to someone with a cane, and photos could help folks out that way.

Built to make money…🤨

Between the so-so performance, limited functionality(can’t seem to expand search beyond 25 miles), and tons of ads; this app is clearly intended to make money for its investors first and actually help mobility impaired people second. Their company’s privacy policy essentially says we keep your data and track you to better make money from ad impressions and clicks. I am so over having my potential attention sold to advertisers in this somewhat underhanded way…. No thank you!

Great idea but no information

I just downloaded this app and I think that the only thing I accomplished was getting on yet another mailing list. I am trying to find wheelchair-friendly businesses in my area. For restaurants, here are very few places listed and most of those have NO reviews. I am going to delete this app, and will resign myself to getting even more spam email than I already was getting. Thanks for nothing.

Mine was the only review that came up!!

Hanleyliz on

I was looking for an accessible place to dine last night. I Googled that and saw this app and I thought GREAT! I downloaded it and there was not one single restaurant near me, or any other business near me, that had any reviews. I wrote one about a restaurant near me that is not accessible at all, so someone else will not go there, but nothing to help me.

Don’t know how I lived without!

Such a great app! It’s definitely growing! And such a good resource!

Notifications

I love the idea, and it could fulfill an important need. However, I dislike the fact that installation requires you to allow notifications. I went ahead and installed it, but if I receive annoying notifications I will delete and write a new review.

Finally

Waited too long for an app like this to exist, so it was certainly a relief upon finding iAccess that the app was so slick, professional, and simple to navigate. Will certainly be using this regularly.
