iArcheryScores keeps track of your archery scores. It is designed with special attention to easy and exact usage. You enter a score just by dragging your arrow onto the target. Afterwards you automatically get a scorecard including the target-face showing all your arrows. You can send these results to any computer via e-mail, Twitter and Facebook. In contrast to other archery apps the arrow gets an an arrowhead when touched. That allows for a very exact placement, because your finger doesn´t obscure the target.
iArcheryScore supports FITA recurve, compound,field, IFFA indoor, Beursault and stylized 3D faces.

Details:
You create a new session, by entering a name, date and optionally a comment. You select a predefined session-type that automatically creates the rounds or you select a custom session and create the rounds by yourself. When using arrow-numbers you are able to access you quiver, add arrows to it and your results will automatically include arrow-statistics.

After selecting a round, you see the empty target-face for the first end. You enter your results by dragging your arrows onto the right spot. When touching an arrow, it transforms into an arrow with an arrowhead. That allows for a very exact placement. Additionally you see the current score beside your arrow while moving it. (You can use a "magnifying glass" for a even more exact placement of your arrows, especially when using the full FITA-target.) After entering the first end you switch to the next one by using the swipe-gesture or by pressing the next/previous-button.

After finishing one round, you are able to sign/lock it.That makes it impossible to accidentally change the round and will show the resulting score, when beginning the next round.

You are able to look at your scorecard all the time.

After finishing your round, you can send it via e-mail.
The e-mail contains your scorecard and the face including all arrow-hits.

- Open-Ended rounds:
You are able to shoot "open-ended" rounds. Select "1+" ends when creating a new round. iArcheryScores creates one end and you are able to add new ends just by pressing the button to goto the next round. The button show a additional +-Symbol to clarify this possibility.

- Custom distances: you can enter and select custom distances (m, yd, ft).

- Sight settings: you can now sight settings per distance and per round. When creating a new round, the sight setting is taken from the corresponding distance. The distance setting is not affected by changes of the round setting.

Auto-Shoot:
Some archers experienced a slight movement of the arrow, after they released it.
It seems, that they are not taking off their finger directly, but unintentionally let their finger slide before taking it off.
These archers can use "auto-shoot".
You can turn it on, by pressing the grayed-arrow-button near the zoom-button. There you can also set the delay for it to work.
When "auto-shoot" is enabled and you place the arrow at the target without moving your finger, the arrow is shot automatically, without you lifting your finger.
The delay-time tells how long you have to keep you finger down without moving it.

Great scoring app

I love this app, use it to track my scores in Vegas style leagues and it is amazing. Love how you can keep track of individual arrow hits and it makes scoring at the end a breeze. Only negative is I wish you could customize one of the 3D scoring modes so you can accommodate for different club shoots. Such as being able to vary the amount of ends and amount of arrows per end. Other than that great app and I highly recommend it!!

Just OK so far

I wish that the developers would also include the NFAA 300 round at 20 yards as an option, both the large blue face and the 5-spot face. I also wish that they had the option of seeing how each individual arrow performed. In other words, have the option to see on a single target face each place that arrow #1 hit throughout the round, all of #2 arrow's placement on a single target face, etc. so that it is easier to see how each individual arrow is performing at one glance.

Superb app.

BradHT: what do you mean by inside-Out arrows? How should the tracking be done? Regarding ClintHolemans Review: since Version 2.8 you are able to shoot 15 ends. I am experiencing no problems at all. Regarding GameFreak and Eish problem: I think, you didn´t recognize you have to click on the new sessions-row which appears, when you create a new session. Click on it and you will see the runs-view, where you can create new rounds for this session. Hope, that helps.

Excellent scoring app...!

One of the best scoring apps out there. Does almost everything. Only issue is that now I've upgraded to the newest iOS, I can't add individual arrow info (#'s etc...) Would also love a way to track 'inside-out' arrows! Please make this happen!!!

Awesome!!

This is the best scoring app out there - bar none. It is easy to use, fast and very accurate. I like the target scoring feature. As I said, the best. I use it almost every day. It does need a custom number of ends though - we shoot 15 ends in some of the state tourneys and you can't get there with this (sigh). So - awesome, but not perfect yet.

App does not work

I downloaded this app to both my iPad and iPhone - it does not work as advertised at all. I experienced the same lack of functionality reported by another reviewer. Furthermore, the app support, if it exists at all, is in German. So good luck with that. Deleting the app and downloading it again from both devices showed no improvement. Don't buy this app, it's a waste of money. Why is Apple rating it 4+ when there is a reported problem on this app?

Great app

Simple, easy to use, and it works great. One thing I might be missing though is a way to see all your shots in a round (as opposed to the individual ends) without hitting the email button. Gamefreak, that happened to me too at first but I just backed out of the app and then went back in and the rounds were there. That probably doesn't help you but it does work as stated.

Ok, but no nfaa

I am hoping they develop scoring for nfaa rounds. I like to see the target face for scoring like this app has it just doesn't work for me though since it doesn't support nfaa rounds.

Big Problem

Downloaded the app but it's not as advertised. Can only enter name, mark, aperture & extension. That's all that's available. Any help would be appreciated.

Great app

Easy to use and flexible. I would love to see use of colours in the score board and all arrows shown not just in the email you can send. Thanks alot for marvelous program.
