Time for a trip? iBeams is a interactive procedural special effects system, pending FDA approval as a mind altering substance. Create and manipulate hypnotic beams of plasma, lightning bolts, squiggles, lasers, swirly swarms, flames of light, geometric shapes, sine waves, color spray, and other psychedelic shapes.
Touch the screen and watch the beams follow your fingers. Pinch, zoom and tilt to control motion echos traveling off into infinity.

Awesome Visuals
I've been on a search for an app that does this and have downloaded 4 others and this is by far the best don't bother with any others. I'm able to stream this from the ipad through Apple TV box onto the TV and it looks awesome. Great customisation of effects and superb HD quality. I would love to see a feature that shows current song playing and a button to skip backwards on the music task bar, maybe a Slick little mini player type bar for music, this would truly make this a 5 Star app, I look forward to an update!

If you have an iPad and don't have this app, you suck.
This V.I.Person knows this is pretty good.
I haven't played with it enough but it Does need some examples to play with certain music. If somehow it could have different functions for moods of the music playing and respond to the beat tone audible voice etc. It would be great to c people's work and suggested songs to play with.
Mmmmmmm......
After playing with this app for over an hour, I still cannot get any sense of satisfaction from it. Sure I can get lots of visual madness, many random events, but I don't get a feeling of creative expression - quite the opposite, I feel frustrated, thwarted in my efforts to use it as a creative tool. Once momentarily, I did see a pattern that I enjoyed but alas, was at a loss to reproduce it.
I am sure the creator(s) of this app have worked long and hard to produce it and I do not want to make light of their work, however I must say that I don't think that I will be spending much time using it.
Have the developers of this app tried another much simpler, yet very satisfying app like Gravilux? It actually delivers a method of expressing yourself creatively that you can feel in control of. Very satisfying indeed.
Experience teaches one that more complex does not necessarily mean better. Keeping things simple will always win the day.
