I’ve enjoyed getting coupons and exploring new businesses so much with this app. I didn’t realize it was not universal till I tried to change my settings because I’m moving. Dang, Abilene does have some treasures! This app is one of them lol
I am a senior & this can be hard to use ( when I remember to use it). Tried to use it at Fuzzies a couple wks ago because I saw a sign that said “. Buy one taco , get one with the app”. Well they didn’t have internet to be able to scan my app!! And they wouldn’t honor it without scanning my app!! 😡 jump in a lake!
So I never read the privacy disclosure…. My fault. I got a call today from a gym who got my name and phone number from the app just because I clicked the ad. I didn’t engage with it in any way other than clicking on it to read it. Very annoying. Do they offer discounts? Yep. But it comes at a cost of giving away your name and phone number to anyone who advertises in the app. I deleted it. Again, my bad for not reading, but really?!

I used to use this app a lot, but lately all of the businesses stopped showing up under the categories. This app is useless now. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but still no luck.
Another app that wants me to create an account by providing my email address and creating yet another password before using. Not worth it, in my opinion. Deleted it immediately after downloading it.
As a brand new Abilenian, I love this app! I’ve used it twice in my first week here so 10/10. Thank you!
