The app was brilliant until the last update You added a new layer of security It has become rubbish You have to get a one off 4 digit code I received it and it never worked Phoned the helpdesk team to be told We know there is a problem since the update ok date tech team are working on it That was 7 weeks ago Please please get rid of the extra security it was not needed Confusion i spoke to a staff member in store Who indicated same problem but needed 6 number code Just sort it out and i will increase my score

Amazing Staff

yvevie on

United Kingdom

I regularly shop at the Iceland in Clapham Common and the staff there are very courteous. If there’s an item that’s not in the shelf, the staff will go out of their way to check whether it’s in the stock room, unlike other stores.

Problems with topping up!

RobandSam on

United Kingdom

For some extraordinary reason my bank has been declining all top-up payments from my credit card during the last few days: all went through correctly at the start of the week - now nobody has any idea why the system is not working properly any more … 🤔

I love the bonus card

flofudge on

I love the fact that topping up your bonus card means the money I get back for topping up is available when I have no money spare it’s very handy

Frustration

Taken so long to credit my card & now, no £2 bonus added!

Credit card use broken

Manic Mac User on

United Kingdom

There is a serious bug in app which is not present in website. When topping up credit you have to manually enter all details EVERY SINGLE TIME. Unable to add credit cards. Sure you can enter on Website but when you select in app and enter 3 digit code it just crashes and says in red text “some payment method fields are invalid” when they are NOT. For starters what is preventing use of Apple Pay within app?? Secondly having to use a website somewhat defeats the purpose of having the app. Other than that it’s just a barcode which is no better that having the plastic card. I noticed this on two accounts and two different phones. Wasted hours entering details. Rebooting phones. Deleting apps and reinstalling. Nothing works. What I find difficult to understand is how this feature hasn’t been tested properly. Please review and fix. Thanks.

Can’t add bonus card to iPhone wallet

Iceland Regular on

United Kingdom

Love Iceland and mainly shop at food warehouse but prices are really good . As for the app it is easy to use but would still prefer to add bonus card to wallet which is far easier than looking for app on phone then finding bonus card and holding queue up at checkout . Would be far simpler if could transfer bonus card to wallet from app ….. like other shopping cards are able to .

Pointless

This review process is stupid on

United Kingdom

only works when I put money on card and even then when card scanned it doesn’t work. If anything it costs me more to put money on the card then I save or spend in store so a totally pointless app
