Description

At Naturespace, we do things differently. When we decided to create a white noise app, we didn’t just turn on our synthesizer or generate it with our computer. We went to Iceland.
Time Magazine: “This is some of the best sound quality out there.”
Iceland White features the completely natural, full-spectrum white noise of Iceland’s majestic waterfalls and shorelines, captured with remarkable detail and fidelity. Using state-of-the-art recording equipment and techniques refined over decades of capturing natural sound in the field, we sought out the earth’s ultimate sources of natural white noise. And boy, did we find them. Three waterfalls are reproduced with pristine clarity: the mighty Dettifoss, one of the most powerful waterfalls in all of Europe, as well as majestic Selfoss and the spectacular Goðafoss. Each one has its own subtly unique character while also being true to the genre of white noise.
In addition, Iceland White also includes three spatially accurate ambiences that capture the feel and mood of one of the most magical places on the planet. Two gorgeous shorelines and a unique and engaging wind round out the collection to create a swiss army knife of natural sound.
The all-natural white noise of Iceland White enhances focus, eliminates distractions, reduces anxiety, and promotes a state of relaxed mental clarity. It is the perfect sonic tool for help with masking distracting sounds, sleeping, studying, concentration, meditation, anxiety, and tinnitus. The University of Kansas Medical Center recommends our audio as a top mindfulness tool for medical training.
Don’t subject yourself to artificial noise; your subconscious knows the difference. Instead, utilize the far superior natural forms within Iceland White. Your mind and body will thank you. With six infinitely-looping tracks, an elegant and simple user interface, and endless uses for Iceland White, there’s something for everyone. Iceland White Reviews

epic app. been with these folks since the beginning. 2009

thank gobz for "Railfan" "Iceland White" and "Nature Space" I no longer hear my neighbors satanic machinations via the outdoor party they decided to have in the commons. I was trying to sleep when their alcohol peaked, and they started hooting and hollering and making monkey noises. Now, I bask in the sounds of europes most powerful waterfall, which launches 200 cubic meters per second over its edge, and makes for pure blissful deep and thick white noise, and well, thats all I hear now.. :D also thank gobz for having it piped through an amplifier, so i can make sure my neighbour under me isnt experiencing hell in a secondary nature, due to the sudden and what will amount of about 8 hours of waterfall.. heh. also the apps do not need to be connected to the internet, and have a rather unique algorithm that makes it such that you never hear the same exact ordering of a track twice.. really clever stuff.

Amazing Audio

This is the most amazing audio White noise. It is worth every penny of the app. I have used Naturespace audio for years and loved it. There is just nothing better on the market. Do yourself a favor and buy this app. You won’t be disappointed.

The best, most detailed, nature sounds I've ever heard. Truly a great app. Now, please make a man happy and allow the ability to cast from the apps. Pretty please?

Exceptional As Always

Picked this app up a day ago and it's been on non-stop all day. Is amazing, I had been wondering what the Naturespace staff had been up to, and I got my answer! The white noise works a treat to cover the dog-whistle that sadly now lives in my left ear. My only crab - consistently a lost cause - is that the apps no longer update new tracks in the older versions.. (My iPhone 3GS with iOS 6 is still on nightstand duty in the the bedroom, it's been playing Telescope Lake for weeks) regardless, this new selection of sounds is untouchable in quality, and am still discovering the nuances (it is so correct the brain *can* tell the difference between real natural white noise and man made) of the sound. The 'Ice Wind' track has so much going on in it! It has been a long wait and as always, well worth it! Thank you so much, Naturespace, you really do tip-top quality work. Soundscapes are an art form and you are masters! Regards, Deborah Terreson

Soothing noise masking

The recordings in the sister Naturespace app are so good, I got this one right away when it came out. The selection in this app are, as described here, excellent for noise masking. The ocean scene is especially good for noise in my environment. Your use may be different, so it's handy that it comes with six tracks to try. Even though I use mostly the ocean track, I find I can use it for a long time without getting tired of it. It just fades nicely into the background. If you want to try before you buy, get the free Naturespace app and download the previews for some of these Iceland White tracks.

Just beautiful

These recordings are beautiful to listen to, but are also fantastic for masking other noises. When I travel, this company’s waterfall tracks are always on my device. Naturespace makes the world a better place. KW in SC
