iControlAV is the first app. of its kind from Pioneer Home Electronics that allows you to literally control your new Pioneer AV Receiver and BD Player with your iPhone or iPod Touch! Friends and family will be truly amazed as you take full control of your home theater sound in a whole new way! 4 screen modes allow you complete control of your Pioneer receivers sound tuning and switching capabilities.
“Control” mode provides the basic functions of the AV Receiver such as Power on/off, volume up and down, input select, and surround sound modes .Basic functions such as Play, Stop, Forward, and Reverse are supported for the BD Player.
Other functions include Pioneer's “Precision” mode for sound enhancement screens that also includes demo video clips to explain the benefits of these unique sound features. “Balance” and “Emphasis” modes are virtual motion adaptive functions that allow you to change the "sweet-spot" of your home theater, independently adjust the volume of your center speaker or subwoofer just by tilting your iPhone or iPod Touch!

Lazy Pioneer team, app not working with new IOS
After one year all the users of this app cannot use it, it dies not work with recent version of IOS. The new apps does not work with old receivers. How is this possible? Why Pioneer does not want to keep customers loyalty.
Why ditch old school users?
I’d like to understand why you stopped updating this app, and chose not to support older receivers in your newer iControlAV5 app? My VSX-1120-K still works like a champ, but no long has an app to go with it.

I loved this app, until I got my new iPhone! It no longer works with my beloved Pioneer VSX-1120. My receiver still works fine, but I will be forced to buy a different brand, once it doesn’t…unless Pioneer ups their customer service game! I have been a loyal customer for years!!!
Stopped working with iOS 14 update
Can we get this app updated or one of the newer apps extended to work with the elite SC-35 era of receivers ? At this point don’t even card about BluRay Disk player but app for receiver would be awesome.

Not able to use since phone was updated to 14.7
Doesn’t work
I’ve been using this app for years with my pioneer receiver. It no longer works with the newest IOS version. I’m running 14.7.1 on iPhone 12 Pro.
Not working with current ios
This app is obsolete, developers won’t update it to work with current iPhone operating system , is sad how owners of old receivers have been let down after paying a fortune for the pioneer products and the app itself.
Gone. Dead.
The developer gave up and stopped supporting this in the latest ios. Used it all the time before.
