Shortly after getting married my wife and I wanted to find a good budgeting app but many of them were either too complicated, not flexible enough, or too time-consuming to use. It’s no wonder why over half of American adults do not budget. To solve this, we created an app for ourselves—getting rid of the pain points helped us stay on top of our budget. As we benefitted from the app, we shared it with our friends and eventually decided to release it on a larger scale so you can not only start budgeting but enjoy it while reaching your money goals.

ENTER EXPENSES IN 4 SECONDS ON AVERAGE
With ideely you don’t have to worry about misclassification of records added directly from your bank account. We avoid connecting to your bank all together while making it quick and easy to add records yourself via voice or our speed tap entry. Enter data as you go so that you’ll never be in the dark on how much is left in your budget.
ADD RECORDS WITH VOICE COMMANDS
Unlike other apps that demand your full attention to add records, we built ideely to budget on the go with easy speech entry. For example:
- In the time it takes to place and receive your order at a coffee shop, you can tell ideely “spent $3.46 on coffee.”
- While walking to your car after a long shift of waiting tables, tell ideely "received $40 from tips.”
- Picking up a bagel on your walk to work, tell ideely “spent $3.50 on eating out.”

We recognize it's not always beneficial to use voice commands. With this in mind, we optimized the process of manually entering records to enable you to add records in as little as 3 seconds.

EASILY EXPORT DATA TO EXCEL
You can extract a CSV file of all your records at any time. Whether you are self-employed or file 1099, ideely is a great resource for tax season.
SYNCING ACROSS MULTIPLE DEVICES
You can log in to your ideely account from multiple devices. This works great for married couples. Both partners can simultaneously view their shared account from their own device.
