iGeriatrics FAQ
Is iGeriatrics free?
Yes, iGeriatrics is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is iGeriatrics legit?
⚠️ The iGeriatrics app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
After playing with the app, I feel like it has a lot of great information. I am a soon to be FNP and think that this information is a great reference tool for new providers. However, it’s also a lot of basic information we learned in our studies. I don’t think this app would be worth the $9.99 simply for the BEERS criteria. It would be great to have on hand, but I can also use the internet from my computer to get that information for free. Overall, it’s a great resource tool for new practitioners but I don’t recommend a subscription, at least at the $9.99 price.
Cannot cancel subscription
This app is not helpful at all. I have been trying to cancel my subscription, but am unable to access the account settings, and there is no way to reset the password. Save your money, avoid this app.
Can’t open anything
I wanted to preview this app, but every single topic you try to open says you need to download the full version. Not helpful.
Does not work!!
I was told this was a great resource from my professor. It has a bug and will not even open. Says there are no products for prescriptions.
disappointing
Scanty content. There is not enough information for the price of the app.
Free trial?
Why would I pay $9.99 for a subscription when I don't even know if I like the app or find it useful? A free trial would be appreciated.
Meh
I find Medscape to be a lot more helpful. The Beers list is handy, but otherwise I don't use this app.
Worthless!!
If I could give this app zero stars, I would have. This app has little information and none of it is useful to anyone familiar with healthcare.
Weak app
Difficult to navigate. Poorly written. Unintuitive. Very disappointed.
Poor layout, limited tools
I was hoping for a paid app, that it would have a lot more functionality. It is not well designed and doesn't have as many functional assessment tools as a resident or practicing physician would want. It could be improved by changing the algorithm layout to not be individual question based.
