iHeart: Play & Listen to Music

Guys, This app has come ALONG way since the days of the original iPhones. More stations, more podcasts and not to mention that thing we take for granted since the old days - playing while in the background. That was huge for this app. One thing that also made a big step was the Apple Watch app. Being able to listen on earbuds while leaving your phone and going for a run was huge. One other thing that will take this app to the next level is enabling speaker playback on the Apple Watch for ALL non-Series 10 watches. iHeart developers, please please ad this awesome feature request to an already amazing app!

IHeartRadio is the best for listening to talk radio! Very grateful for the new sleep timer and for the great selections. I use it for my favorite podcasts as well. I wish they would lose “Camps”. I find it annoying. An unpleasant voice and not the best presentation.

I love the music they have but I have to say whenever I want to go to a different station like Christmas or Mariah Carey (just an example) it won’t play. Also it says I’ve been listening to music I don’t even like, like rock and pop. And it does say I listen to Mariah Carey which I would never EVER do. So I can’t use it which is a real shame.

Everything was fine (use iHeart on my iPhone, usually listening to podcasts as I fall asleep) until the last update and changes. Now the app won't turn off, it freezes my phone (iPhone 13, 1OS 18.1.1), drains the battery and I have to turn off and then restart my iPhone to get it working again. Whatever changes were made ruined the app for me. Can't bother to use it any more as if I have an emergency in the night my phone won't work until the turn off, turn back on sequence is initiated -- not to mention the battery may be dead by morning. It was a great app before this, 5 stars, but it's unusable for me now, which is a bummer. Why developers would change a perfectly good app like this boggles the mind. :-(

I receive a mix tape from iHeart radio every Monday and it’s my responsibility to let them know which songs I like by selecting a Thumbs Up symbol. One week, iHeart Radio selected Real Love by Father John Misty, and I fell in love with instantly. 9 months or so have passed and I’m grooving with it like I heard it for the first time! Give iHeart Radio a try.

Need better service in the country

the buttons have shrunk. cannot easily pause, forward or rewind as easily. takes 2-3x as long to get to a favorite and actually get it to play. Newest release is not user friendly. Go back to old version

{I originally gave this app a five star review. And I'm happy to put that back. But unfortunately there is a weird bug. I love the Preset Feature, but after saving all of my presets, the app has had an error multiple times and deleted every single preset I made. To the point where I'm giving up making any presets at all. Please fix this iHeart! } I really love iHeart. It has great radio stations like DELILAH, all the podcasts you'd ever want, and tons of music that you can download with a premium subscription. The only two notes that I have, is I wish that they would make it a little easier to access your "library". As it stands, you can find it in the home tab. But it's a little awkward to get to. Also, an option to be listening to a radio station or playlist, and then be able go to the album that that the current song is from, would be super helpful. So some slight formatting/organization issues, that I'm getting used to. That being said, I think it's a wonderful app. I particularly love exploring iHeart for radio stations and podcast. And I will definitely be using it way more in the future. It's almost like Pandora, old school radio, and Spotify had a love child. And I love it.
