Ikes - ideen Notizenverwaltung

Ikes is basically a source and input manager for people who want to remember passages from articles, books etc. Why not just use Apple Notes? I for one, never see these notes again. I wrote it down to help me recall information, but then I can never be bothered to look through all of my old notes. Ikes on the other hand allows through its elaborate tagging system and the random card feature that my notes and ideas don‘t get lost. That‘s why I appreciate the application.

Widget does not work for me. I’ve tried everything. It only shows a blank, black square as the widget. I’ve tried selecting different lists, widgets styles/sizes, etc. It is always just a black widget block.

The internet is full of fun and interesting things, Ike’s helps me manage them. Artwork, quotes, things I want to follow up on, and more are all stored in Ikes. I can review them as needed and they are well organized. Love this app. Have already purchased the full version.

Perfect for short notes when you don’t want to save the whole article or an excerpt of it is much more important to the rest. Has many use cases. I’d forgotten about this app for a time being, and came back to an app that had advanced over time. Now has the new feature to create an image from a quote or any block of text. This is the Goodlinks of text excerpts and quotes you’d like to safe keep from the browser or really an app. Definitely in my keep pile. It’s still useful in ‘freemium’ mode, but I definitely eventually will upgrade to premium.

Ikes allows you to take notes fast and retrieve those notes even faster. I take random notes not knowing if I will need it later and Ikes is a perfect solution. Note: I avoid large tech companies where possible and the freeware they produce. I want to support companies starting out.

Inputting YOUR OWN content will require the extra typing; or saving someone else’s idea will require a few more “developer-required” taps. • That is excellent UI! • I can quickly create and save my own ideas without being bogged down by categorizing and breaking my flow of thought. • Plus I can easily save inspiration from many other apps and sources. • Tags are very useful AND can be added later so you can keep your creative flow uninterrupted. • The Dev seems to be ensuring the stable foundational functionality of ikes. • He has listed all the great features he is already planning to add—colors, tweaked searches, etc. • ikes is DEFINITELY worth downloading and using NOW as it is sure to become very popular.

I like how easy it is to add ideas directly in the app or from other sources. The app design is great. There is a room for improvement visually but keeping the app simple is important
