Pretty good but...reset should go to “1” not “0” for my purposes anyway & my opinion

I bought a row counter for 5.99 at michaels and it keep changing. I tried a few so far and this one is my favorite. One app I was in a middle of a project and it went back to 0. Good thing I didn’t like how it was coming out. Then I found this app. Does increase and decrease. I haven’t seen ads. I love the picture of the app with the yarn and needles. Does exactly as advertised. Keeps the stitch count until I erase it even if it's been several days since I've opened the app. I couldn't ask for anything more except the ability to have more than one project going at once but even without that I think this app is pure gold!

Does what I need it to do.

Ok so it doesn't get any simpler then this. I just started knitting and was losing my row count for a while. I would always make a sticky note saying "just finished row 5" so I would know where to go to next time I picked it up. This is great. Close the app and it stays put. I love it.

Ridiculous for any type of project - does not save place. Pointless.

Super simple which was the appeal, especially for my project on the plane. The simplicity is lost however when the phone is powered down (on sleep mode) for a longer period of time (night out) to find it has reset itself to zero. Left me searching my work for decreases and counting rows instead of jumping back in. Bummer

I downloaded several apps to try. Good thing because I opened this one today and it had reset! I'll be deleting it

For some reason when I open this App the brightness on my phone immediately goes to the lowest setting. It continues when I exit the App. I either have to lock my phone for it to return to the original settings or go into setting and manually return it to full brightness. If this could be fixed in an update that would be awesome.
