Pretty good but I would like some more features
I write apps and connect computers and microcontrollers. This app is terrible at setting up the WiFi connection. I am not sure if it’s a bad update or bad programming but it won’t connect. As soon as I connect my iPhone to the iLife A9, I go back to the app to continue setup and it never “sees” that I’m connected to its WiFi. So it won’t enable the “start connecting” button. App Developer: fix it!
This app is by far the most frustrating app I’ve ever had to deal with. The robot doesn’t connect to wifi even after following all instructions. And after a few days it just disconnects and no longer works.
I keep having to re-pair my vacuum to the app. Every couple days or so, it goes “offline” in the app and nothing will fix it. I’ve sent in a message for support and never got a response.
I can’t even get past the initial setup. When I enter my email it says invalid email. Shut off my phone, reinstalled the app still the same response. I love the vacuum but this app is no bueno.
I have 2 A9s- one for each floor of my home. I for the life of me cannot get the 2nd to pair. No issues with the first one. Followed all steps to a T and the app just freezes once it gets to 53%.
Why would someone release an app that does not do what it says it does. I have tried both Apple and Android devices. Never got it connected. Half developed app that really would stand out from the rest of it worked as expected.
I could never pair the device despite numerous tries. I followed the instruction carefully, MAC filtering is disabled, wi-fi password is correct, device is in AP mode and still.. I never had to enter default WIFI password, it connects automatically to Robot-123, may be it is the reason
The app works for the most part but there’s room for improvement. If the robot got something stuck, the mapping gets reset so it goes back and vacuum the same area that it had already covered.
