Onemix is the answer
We've considered Planet personal monitor mixing solutions for a while but this app does the job brilliantly and all our users (5 of us already) are more than happy with the performance of this app. It's brand new and needs a few bugs ironing out / performance tweaks but A&H started from a great platform (Mixpad, which we also have) and so have already produced a great piece of software at v1.00. I've given it 4 stars - it's worth every penny (and pretty nicely priced for it's purpose) but it loses the chance for a fifth due to the method by which users are managed. The FoH / MON desk operator(s) have got to set this up for the musician. (Log on as admin - select mix then set it up - then hand back for the user to log on). There is no support for users to log on and from doing so - pick up pre-configured settings for each musician or mix-monitor point. You can also only link the app to a single mix which means mono-mix IEM users (two mixes blended - drummers being a good example) are not well catered for by the app. These are really minor points compared to the gains all our musicians have got from using the app so it genuinely is a solid 4 STARS and definitely worth getting if you already have iLive / MixPad. Top effort A&H! --- Bugs/issues we'd like addressed --- * Up to two mixes rather than one? * Possible to change implementation / setting up of users so logging into a certain account pulls up configuration / mix set up? * Any chance of making run in the background so user doesn't have to log back in if the change app (iPad 2/3) * Any chance we can avoid wasting a bank to put your own mix in - be nicer to have 4 user layers rather than 3 plus one with just your mix in it. (Space for 32 inputs without scrolling left to right). * Noticed that if you select an input in a layer without processing enabled and then jump to your own mix (where you may have processing enabled) you are able to see and adjust processing for that input channel - this looks like a bug.
