iMailG FAQ
Is iMailG free?
Yes, iMailG is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is iMailG legit?
🤔 The iMailG app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Google keeps preventing me from viewing my messages. Wants me to switch to new gmail version App
Unless you do, your emails are blocked
This has been happening off & on for a couple years. However this time I can’t get back in
Thrilled IMAILG is back in on track!
I find IMAILG is my favorite email app. I especially like that you can search for a specific mail; search for all instances of that mail; then Select All and easily file them.
Over the the past year the app hasn’t worked well consistently. I wasn’t able to access developer support to address the problem.
Well … recently the developer has been very responsive ~~ the app works beautifully. Yay!
App good, support awful
The app itself is good, but support is non-existent. Emails aren’t answered, and webpage is of limited help. I’ve used this for years, but time to dump it. Save your $.
Won’t log in to Gmail error
All attempts to use this app to read email are now met with an error that “this browser is unable to log into Gmail due to lack of JavaScript” or something to that effect. In other words, the app seems to have died. Used it for nearly a decade before it died. :-(
Images are not displaying
For a while now, images do not display in iMailG but they do in other email apps. How do I fix this?
Very Few Push Notifications
No one ever replies to my emails for one thing. Second, I rarely get push notifications. The emails come to the app but no ringtone! I paid for this app so this is very frustrating!
Recent change horrible!!
I have been using this application for years. It has always been my favorite for Gmail. Now, all of a sudden, the reviews are all missing has been reset to zero. I know why. I’m sure tons of people, like myself, have now written horrible reviews.
Recently I have been deluged with advertisements that pop up and take over the whole screen. I can get rid of them if I pay more money, but don’t wish to continue to pay more. And I don’t wish to change the way the application was, as I was not paying to get rid of these ads.. Also every time I turn it on and try to change the font to something reasonable, it tells me that I can’t use this action unless I dismiss it or pay to use that all the time. Changing the font? Really? That is where they want to make her stand on the word to charge you or make you dismiss the entire thing every time?
Although it has been a great application until now, I will just go back and use the Gmail application which is free and still a great one.
Too inconvenient
Super long ads you can’t exit from. A bit complicated to set up the passcode.
Longtime user: still a great app
I’ve been using iMailG for years and absolutely love it. It interfaces with gmail to do exactly what I want, with very few problems or irritating features, and keeps the gmail features that I know and love.
IOS is Easier
I don’t like the way gmail sorts messages. It is also not intuitive how to forward or reply when you want to change a previous message.
IOS is just easier.
