ENTRY LEVEL [FOOT • INCH • FRACTION] CALCULATOR
MACWORLD **** "inchCALC's ease of use coupled with its advanced features make this an uncommonly good addition to a crowded genre." 3/9/09
inchCALC is an entry level construction calculator for people who work with the FEET• INCH• FRACTION dimensions used common rulers and tape measures.
These dimensions are shear drudgery when you have to manually add or subtract them --- let alone multiply or divide.
If you are a builder, contractor, sub-contractor, architect, engineer, artist, designer, student, homemaker or DIYer, you know the importance of working with accurate dimensions. inchCALC™ tranforms your iPhone / iPod Touch into an easy to use FT• IN• FRACTION construction calculator that inputs and outputs dimensions exactly as they appear on a tape measure.
With inchCALC you can inexpensively perform the functions of expensive dedicated calculators on your iPhone / iPod Touch.

inchCALC FAQ
Is inchCALC free?
Yes, inchCALC is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is inchCALC legit?
🤔 The inchCALC app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
The developer has corrected the problem. Continue to love and use this app every day in my work. Great and needed app. [Old review: After the latest iPhone software update there was a message from Apple telling me that this App could cause my phone to work slower because the App is not updated for the new software. I see there is a new INCHcalc +. Is that compatible and if so, not too happy that I will need to spend $4.99 to replace an App I've already paid for.]
A clean, simple, carpentry tool
A great tool for carpenters, builders, or anyone who needs to perform simple calculations with inches and feet. This is not a conversion tool as most in the app store are. There's an ad for an additional paid upgrade which makes the calculator useless in landscape mode. Other than that, it's straight-forward, and performs as you'd hope.
What about Pi
Great tool for dealing with the obsolete system of feet and inches, but shouldn't there be a key for PI?
The Best Ft/In Calculator Updated!
I was afraid I lose my long time favorite foot/inch calculator when I updated to iOS 11 but no more. Thanks to the developer for the update!
Great utility
I’ve had this app just about from its first release. While I don’t use it everyday, it is handy to have around because it is intuitive to use and I don’t have to relearn anything when I need it. It is just an imperial calculator and does that job without fuss or annoying glitter.
DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!
The developer has not supported this app in years. They have released a new app and charge $4.99 for it instead of creating updates the existing one.
If you buy this app you will get a message stating that it will slow your phone. I am not happy about buying an app which the developer does not support. I would expect them to do this on their next app as well. Buyer beware.
Great on iPhone, awful on iPad
This works great on my iPhone, but does not work on the iPad despite being listed as iPad compatible on the Apple App store web site.
Awesome
I'm a pipe fitter and use it daily
a must for architects
Use it daily, amazing value. A must have.
Bait and Switch (IMHO)
Originally bought for iPhone. It is said by developer to be compatible with iPad. Opening app on the iPad results in a screen inviting me to spend another 5.00 for an iPad version. I am happy to use this app in iPhone emulation mode. However the app simply won't open that way.
