The functionality of this app will be, I believe, off the charts. WHEN I find the buttons and levers that make the whirligigs fly. The app help page provides really good surface quickies to get you started playing and Inclr-ing straight away. They are, however, pretty abbreviated and rather quick, often beginning mid-task, so to speak. I would LOVE a couple of videos either on the help page or elsewhere that are bottom up, not with any assumed level of knowledge. The app itself was a bit overwhelming at first, and a video or tutorial that walked me through creating Inclr, node, layers, navigating layers etc. would have been super beneficial on the learning curve side. I have STILL not gotten the hang of the layers. I keep picking at it, eventually I will get that specific nuance, not knowing how simply means there is learning to do. All of that said, this app is without question singular and is MAGNIFICENT in its ability to streamline all of the ‘things’. I used it initially during art school for notes, digital copies of sketches, reference photos, portfolio edits of finished works, documentation and potential project ideas. I then began to use it in my daily ‘list making’ sessions. To-do lists, project lists for different areas of the house. . . AND THEN THE MAGIC HAPPENED I have begun to come toward a peak in the curve! This app works fine when you use it for school. This app works fine for work, bills, trip planning, or to keep track of emails and important correspondence. But it works MORE than fine when you recognize that it does not merely provide a space for you to organize things. By creating Inclrs for each of the subsets of tasks and items within your headspace. It can effectively be your minds digital dashboard. When opening my Inclr mind map I have a view of all of the things that matter to me. I needn’t bounce between this app or that to find news and check email or update the things that I have been working on, flip between or flip through open apps to get to my reference photo witgh paint covered hands. I merely open my brain each day. From there I can do the things that need done, see the things that need seen and not be distracted by the rabbit hole that is scroll dig find. Need resume info? Work Inclr. Tax info? Documents. That sweet photo of you and the dog camping at Black Canyon? Travel Pics. It is a tiny bit of a pattern switch, but the developers have made it silly easy to import virtually anything and Inclr is an expo
I downloaded this app and very very much wanted to like it. Seem to be just what I was looking for but it’s broken. I tried to set up to open notes on my iPad and all I could do is send me to a preview page that doesn’t actually work, big fell right out the start
Developer is very responsive to any issues found. Inclr continues to improve and upgrade all the time--very impressed. Former Review: Revisited this app after several years and decided to purchase for one-time fee. So glad I did. I'm finding it very useful for organizing my thoughts and ideas. I can "include" pretty much anything--websites (archived for quick-access), photos, documents, notes, and much more. I think there's a lot more awaiting discovery, since this is my second day using it. Very pleased, and highly recommend Inclur for a more immersive mind-mapping experience!
When Apples AR headset comes you guys will be the kings of productivity software! Wow. Just wow. Wowowowowowow. Very impressed with it even as early as it is! There’s still some bugs here and there but the quality and potential is definitely there!
This wonderful app can be used to keep any kind of information. What is special is the app makes it easy to see on your screen all of what you entered. Other apps may hide it from view and you have to do a search to find it. It’s simple, you create categories of your info you want to keep. Each is called a inclr (like you’re in control). An icon shows on the screen for every category you create. Then you go to a category icon and and add items to it. Pick from a long list of kinds of data you want to add like a note, picture, file, PDF, Web page, album, Sketch, Podcast, etc. and enter it in. The app automatically adds an item icon next to that category icon on the screen. Go on and on and add more data items and on the screen the app automatically adds icons for each entry you make, around that center icon category name. In one easy look you can see all of what you entered. Category icons with item icons around them. Just tap on any icon next to one of your categories and your entry opens right up … the note (with Rich Text) or picture or Web page (with its links included), a Sketch you made, etc. You can easily see all of your categories icons with your data icons around them visible your screen. And you can drag them around to any order or view you like. Great app and has many other abilities too. Wish I had discovered it sooner.
it’s a lot of features on here that are not clear and also not working! please do more fixing so this app can be more useful. thanks.
I began using Inclr for purposes of organizing my neuroscience-related research and theories/notes/ideas that result. I am also in the very beginning stages of an entrepreneurial venture for which I am developing a pitch deck. Inclr provides me the ability to organize everything in an efficient and visually appealing way which facilitates productivity and conceptual theorizing like I’ve never experienced. My favorite features are as follows: 1. Wide range of visual customization 2. Ability to import/merge/annotate content from what seems like every possible resource/platform 3. Ability to change visual mind map according to what I’m working on - I change it up depending on type of information and what I’m doing with it at that moment. 4. Layers and node entries I’d honestly been looking for something like this for years. I kept switching the apps/methods of organization and it just became a jumbled mess with information in several different places. Inclr is conducive to high-level cognitive functioning.
I use this to connect notes together on subjects I’m studying, This is a a cool tool to record and visualize data
Really cool app! The AR feature is what I’ve been looking for. Would it be possible to have a feature to connect different groups in the mind map together? Also, to draw connection between nodes in different groups? Also, do the connections show up in the AR feature?
