Description

iNet - Know Your Network!
Easily get an overview of your local network. Which devices are online, which ports are open, which services are available? What is the address of your router? Is someone using your Wi-Fi without your knowledge? Wake up sleeping computers via the network. With iNet you can do all this and more. You can even customize found devices with your own names and icons.
Thanks to its clear and user-friendly design, iNet allows anyone, even with little technical experience, to get a comprehensive overview of their network, connected devices and active services.
iNet is a network scanner designed to make network information accessible, whether you are an experienced network specialist or a casual user. It gives you the data you need to understand what's going on in your network.
No collection of user data. No “calling home”. No subscription. Just a one-time payment for lifetime use.
One of the best network tools for iOS since 2010. Developed in Germany.
This free basic version of iNet includes the network scanner only, but it still offers a wealth of information about your network. You can unlock additional features through in-app upgrades.
Network scanner:
- View all devices that are online and connected to the network, including their IP.
- You can assign your computers, routers or other network devices your own names and icons from the supplied Ion sets or your own icons to identify a device in the scan list more quickly. Most Macintosh devices are automatically displayed with the correct icon.
- Setting the IP range to be scanned or the interfaces to be scanned
- Exporting the scan results as an Excel (csv) or PDF file
- Connect to devices with different protocols
Bonjour monitor:
- Display of all running services (Bonjour) in real time
- Display of the services running on a specific device
- Display of detailed information about a service
- Selection of the active Bonjour domain
Wake on Lan
- Wake up computers in the local network and via the Internet
- Hibernation, shutdown or restart (Macintosh computers only)
- Creating a favorites list
- Sending commands to devices via ssh
Help
- Detailed help text
iNet does not collect user data and does not make calls home. The one-time purchase of the upgrade includes all future updates.
iNet is also available as a native Mac and iPad version.

I’ve been doing Network engineering ever since I started supporting Novell and 3Com products around 1985/86. I have come to rely on this little app for a fast portable view of any local networks. i supported apple since 1980 and so I really like the integration with the Apple/Mac/IOS world! Does it work on my new Apple watch Ultra 2? I hope so! Ross

Completely useless for the base app unless you upgrade

All this gives you as IP addresses with no more information since Apple blocked Mac addresses. The app doesn’t tell you that and anything you want to find out other than the IP address. You must pay additional money to upgrade. Completely useless for my work.

Doesn’t do anything useful for free

There are better network scanning apps out there who don’t charge you for simple port scans and let you change names of devices.
