Unless you wanna spend $100+ a month you won’t be touching Arena, if you want only PVE it’s fine, but even then the events are fully p2w. Every update is just new ways to spend not new things to do.

I’ve only been playing for a few days, but so far I have been loving it!!! Character design and fighting mechanics are really enjoyable

Not quite as greedy as RAID but…
Easy and fun to progress in the beginning but the pay wall once you hit hell stages is very apparent. Without spending to get the right characters and more fodder to awaken your units, expect to progress at a snail pace as f2p or even low spender. Lots of p2w bait events(trio match, hammer, etc) and OP units that you have to pay to get (Nicholas). Ofc a game modelled off raid shadow legend, one should expect as much.
