Couldn’t identify small beetle
The camera seems to only be able to pick larger insects up. If you’re trying to identify something like a small beetle, you won’t be able to. There’s also no info about the app to review while your in the app.

I use several ID apps successfully but not this one. Have yet to receive a successful ID. Maybe need to dispatch them and pin them down. Not very impressed.
Tried many pictures and no identification
The app forces you to pay for a subscription to use it, but doesn’t make clear how to cancel that subscription

The very first bug I photographed it said unknown.
Quick ID and minimal ads that interrupt you.
Submitted a picture and it did not come back with correct assess. Took pictures and it could not find matching name. Very bad app.
Took a photo of a Spotted Lanternfly which has become a huge problem in my area. The app identified it as another type of moth common in North and Central America, when it is actually an invasive species from Asia. So it does try to identify bugs, it just doesn’t do it well.
The app didn’t work
