Recent upgrade is terrible
The recent upgrade means I can no longer access my saved articles, and the save functionality is completely gone. After having 4 conversations with the help desk the situation is still unresolved.
Yes, Inside Out is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.

This is a good magazine for ideas and products for the home
Hi, I have been a subscriber for some years and I’m glad to see that in the latest issue you are venturing beyond Australia for good images and diversity of design. In my humble opinion, Elle Decoration UK and yellowtrace are good examples of success. I would like to see you continue with your recent approach. I really enjoyed the recent issue far more that before. Regards, B
The app is awful. After paying for an annual subscription it now keeps asking for each addition to pay again! Help desk was no help.
It's convenient to have e-magazines but this app does nothing other than show the issues (and even that is clunky). You can't save any ideas, annotate or anything. I've seen other mag apps that do much more. Such a missed opportunity.
I find it very convenient that at a tap of a button I can look back through previous issues ....much better than having stacks of mags everywhere ...love the content...a good mix of of homes, gardens and general reading.
I subscribed on my iPad for $19.99 for the YEAR, I only got two issues then it cancelled out on me . Very very disappointed! Try to bookmark a favourite page and it DOESNT, it bookmarks the same ADVERTISEMENT each time. Pointless.
Purchased an edition and viewed one evening. Purchased another edition about one week later and the first purchase is no longer available. Would rather the hard copy to keep and look at later.
First, let me say that I love Inside Out magazine. The printed version has been a favourite for years. Learning there was an iPad version.. even better! So I purchased my subscription, downloaded the first issue, and what a disappointment! It's a straight replica: no functionality or interactivity of any sort, no improved imagery, no galleries, no ability to bookmark, no enhancements, not even links from the table of contents. Nothing. Needless to say, subscription cancelled, and I'm back to the printed version with hopes that the replica will someday be replaced with a version that works for the medium.
