Insulin Protocol Calculator

Description

App determines insulin bolus and infusion requirements using the Portland Insulin (c) protocol. The user enters the previous and current glucose values, and then enters the last infusion rate. One chooses from one of four target ranges. The App then gives recommendations, including the bolus and infusion rate. This is useful for health care providers utilizing the protocol for glucose control during the perioperative period, in the ICU or on the medical floors.
