The free Interactive Constitution app presents the full text of the U.S. Constitution and features essays by leading scholars that detail areas of agreement and disagreement across a range of philosophical and legal perspectives. Created by the National Constitution Center in partnership with the American Constitution Society and the Federalist Society, this nonpartisan resource is featured by the College Board in its Advanced Placement history and government courses. The Interactive Constitution was made possible by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
To use the Interactive Constitution, just hit the "Explore It" button on its opening screen. Then you can:
Select the "Articles" and "Amendments" tabs on the next screen to read the part of the Constitution that interests you.
For the first 15 Amendments, you can read the annotated text of each amendment, along with "Common Interpretations" - joint statements by leading scholars detailing areas of agreement - and "Matters of Debate," individual statements by those same scholars detailing discussing areas of disagreement, along with the annotated text of each amendment.
For Amendments 16-27, you can read the full annotated text, plus interpretations from the Annenberg Classroom, a national leader in resources for civic education.
For the Articles I-VII of the U.S. Constitution, you can read the full text of each article by sections, with annotations from some of the nation’s leading scholars and from the Annenberg Classroom.
The "About The Constitution" section contains a series of white papers that provide overarching background on the Constitution, its history, and how it should be interpreted and applied.

I have used their website for many years, in fact I also have used their website to creat Lawful and legal documents for court in violation of the American Constitution this these individuals are very consistent and they do not waver in their theology of the God given Rights of the People for chump change of the corrupted officials. One must use discretion when learning this type of stuff. And this is one entity that is perfect! I also like that there is no data link or collected about which that is a violation by other entities such as “FARLEX; legal dictionary” this is the source to go to. Please stand your ground and continue the good fight by honest pure education and knowledge
Report on Amendment 15
This is an awesome app! It’s easier to navigate the amendments than the website (constitutioncenter.org). My history teacher assigned us each an amendment and this app helped a lot! Thank you for your help on my project!
apgov stuff
my APGov teacher had me download this 😐😐😐😐😐😐
Many interpretations
Right off the bat, the first thing a new user sees are the different debates and interpretations behind the constitution. It’s funny this makes me think of all the interpretations of sacred texts written by inspired leaders … like the Bible. While we’re at it, let’s make a bunch of different interpretation of the constitution, the new English version, the international version, the liberal version, the far right version, the proud boy version, the Bernie sanders, the AOC, and wang gang versions.
Shouldn’t there be one interpretation? Very funny how the official app can’t even get it right
lol
bad
Very superb
Very much superb
Changed their icon
Apparently the red white and blue theme of the original icon made it look to American.
This is kind of a trash app.
They do present the constitution as written by our great religious founders but all the professional commenters are so left leaning it is sickening.
Hence the change in the icon
Read the constitution and then go to independent sources to get real neutral and history based commentary
One such source would be David Barton’s Wallbuilders.
Update Coming?
Hoping that this app will be updated to match the online version....
What interactive does not mean
Like others have found, a flaw in the technology of the APP, missing the BACK BUTTON and the FORWARD as well.
Well! That's a new. We The People, have the inalienable right to find a work around a dysfunctional governing technological right for the Liberty , Freedom, Happiness and maybe Safety, controlling tempers to avoid deleting it altogether, of the citizen patriot constitutional reader, the APP promised. Please read carefully. Lacking the ability to move the present page into the past or future pages, one uninstalls the APP, clicks the Apple Store to find the APP, clicking GET or the sad little Cloud to re-download the APP once more, HUZZAH! " In The BeginningThere was the Light of the HOME page, to start again, but do not fret dear readers, stay on whatever you chose finishing with in-depth understanding before moving to another page of interest and you guessed it, stuck again. Uninstall, download, find the information of interest, and in Catch 22 Fashion, uninstall, download etc. etc. etc.etc. Well then, let's us dutifully, with the successful interest at the heart of the matter ASK, Sir Jeffrey, Hi-Ho and behold, to FIX IT you go, lest there be an AlianAble's Right to BEAM it up into the next Universe of Repair, Resolve and Return a BUTTONS Amendment, one that the NYT and WAPO opinion page produces a positive report for our Great Country:::
To Enjoy the Freedom of a living Constitutional Movement once again.
(Bad) Web Browser In Disguise
Good content trapped in an awkward web app. The website is more thought through and easy to navigate. So delete the app and create a bookmark in your mobile browser instead.
