El Rosario es una devoción en honor a la Virgen María. Consiste en un número determinado de oraciones específicas. Entre las oraciones introductorias y la oración final está la carne del rosario: las décadas. Cada década se compone de diez avemarías. Cada década está entre corchetes entre un Padre Nuestro y un Gloria, por lo que cada década tiene doce oraciones.
Cada década está dedicada a un misterio sobre la vida de Jesús o de su madre. Aquí la palabra misterio se refiere a una verdad de fe, no a algo incomprensible, como en la línea: "¡Es un misterio para mí!" Los veinte misterios se dividen en cuatro grupos de cinco: el Gozoso, el Doloroso, el Glorioso, el Luminoso. Cuando la gente habla de "rezar el rosario", por lo general se refiere a decir cualquier grupo de cinco (lo que lleva unos quince minutos).

Buggy but a life saver
New Catholic convert here. I struggled to pray the rosary every day, ESPECIALLY once I became a new mom. My baby has been super fidgety or startled easily, so I didn’t want to hold a rosary while he slept and rattle it, waking him up. That stopped me from praying the rosary for many months. Recently discovered this app and it has been a game changer for saying the Rosary and remembering the mysteries while I rock my baby at night. I am so thankful for this app. It’s still buggy and glitches once in a while, or it would be five stars. It’s great. The bugs are minor. For future features, I’d love to see an option for the traditional mysteries on their days too. Maybe different pictures for each mystery too. Thank you for making this app.
