🤔 The Interloper app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
You will spend hours on the easier stuff thinking it is cool. Then you’ll rip your hair out because the work will be lost to some odd death or your perk for respawn won’t work. This game is cool but the poor mechanics will irritate you.
First time i’ve ever bothered to write a review but in short BUY THE GAME
First of all, this game is something else. The way that they portray simple but effective graphics with the most blood pumping music only scratch the surface with the visual and sound design. The way that simple radar markers can turn into huge capital ships as they warp into the battlefield hammers the space fighter feeling home. As you dodge and weave between the masses of enemy interceptors and hulking behemoths that are sent at you, as you hear the sounds of your breathing as the ship’s weapons release a serenade of fire towards the ship nestled between the holographic crosshair, you realize just how much fun this game really is. I’ve never felt more excited to sit in my bed, put in my airpods, and start playing.
The gameplay is addictive but punishing, forcing you to think twice before going into a high-risk mission for extra loot as your pilot and ship are on the line, while it gives you some leeway on the roguelike aspects, it gives enough challenge that you still feel the stakes at all times, the weapon designs are simple but amazing and seeing them fire in the corner of your screen gives you a sense of power that really gets your blood pumping. The design of the ships is also perfect as they incorporate every ship’s unique ability and trade-offs into the design itself. The music acts as an adamantium backbone onto the game’s already solid foundation, the songs are hand-picked to match the chaos and difficulty of said mission, making you dial in like a sleeper agent.
The price for this perfection is a steal, I suggest this game a thousand times over to anyone who sees this.
Freezes on startup
I'm running an M2 Mac mini on macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. I have 16 GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. This game immediately locks up on startup, showing the "spinning beach ball of death". After about a minute, the game is still in a frozen state. The only way I can close the game is by switching back to my desktop and Force Quitting the game. According to the Developer's website, he is not working on this game in favor of another one of his projects. I will be requesting a refund from Apple, for my purchase price.
Great Game with Difficulty
This game is great in both the late and early game, simply because it is up to the player how hard of a mission they pick. It runs well, albeit with low graphics, on my fairly old iPhone X. My only real issue is that some of the ship cosmetics for completing special challenges, such as the bayonet, don’t seem to reward you even if you complete the challenge. However, this is a very minor issue that may be exclusive to me, and I’m sure will be resolved based on the dev’s track record.
Literal proof that garbage game developers exist
Delete my data for no reason and make me start over because I was good and had earned all my items and perks. Just a joke of a game. Don’t pay for garbage that the developer can just erase the data because you have a great setup
Amazing game and really difficult
Hard
An Instant Classic.
The movement/combat is simple yet surprisingly fun. Scale of battle is fairly large with detailed combat zones. The Voxel graphics are simple but get the job done.
Only issue i have is that shadows on higher Graphics settings tend to look a too pixelated when cast into the cockpit. (But nowhere near immersion breaking)
Overall the game is beautifully chaotic and i highly recommend it. Thank you for making an Awesome game
Waste of money
Boring gameplay + bad controls
Cant Recommend
Not what I expected.
Pls add levels or a battle-pass
Can you add a level system or a mini battle-pass please. Ive been playing since 2020 (back when it costed 6 dollars) and been playing ever since. The graphics, controls, attachments. Everything is amazing. A level system or a mini battle-pass would be awesome. 9.5/10 game.
