Electricity purchase
The South African app does not allow you to send a confirmation text to your phone unless it is a South African number. I have a UK phone number but purchase electricity in SA however I can’t use my own number to complete this. I have to make use of someone else’s SA number. Please fix.
Stuck at login screen for months
I can’t get beyond the app login screen and it’s been like this for months despite countless updates. The only way I can do any banking is via desktop. What a joke.
Pretty useless
When downloaded onto iPad with Apple Magic keyboard, the view is fixed in Portrait mode and can’t be rotated to view in Landscape mode. A massive failing - imagine watching a movie in portrait mode because that’s what it’s like. And the recent update hasn’t done anything to change my review. It never will until landscape mode is enabled by the developers.
New App needs a lot of rework
Over complicated the UX making it less user friendly and not intuitive. The app also hasn’t worked for the last three days, had to delete the app and reinstall it.
Does not work
Always has been glitchy and now does not work / open at all on iPhone. Fix this pls Investec.
The app doesn’t do savings.
If you just have a savings account, don’t bother loading the app; it is not for you. Investec savers and Investec investors are different.
App crashes
Was forced to update as old app was no longer supported, so updated App now crashes on FaceID and terminates.
Useless and phone number goes to South Africa
Every time you upgrade it breaks. Uk number diverts to South Africa where the phone line is rubbish. They NEVER call you back. Considering the money invested in this company ...this is an absolute disgrace
iOS 13.3.1 Version2.48
Since I updated to this the app is hanging every time I attempt to pay someone . I get through the process until I attempt to confirm then it fails! Or is version 2.48 at fault ?
App Notification
Every time I log in to Investec online I get a notification from the app to authenticate the login with biometrics. This results in the red notification number on Iphone displayed on the app. This does not go away even after I have completed the authentication. This is quite frustrating as it constantly now shows that I have a Investec notification even though I don’t. I need to delete and reinstall the app to get this away. Will review rating 5 star once this is fixed as the app works fine otherwise.
