Investec Youth

I’ve created two accounts - one for a 19-year-old and another for a 22-year-old. Unfortunately, the Youth App doesn’t support creating or viewing Virtual Card details, which is a key feature. While this functionality is available via Investec Online on a browser, it’s not ideal for mobile use and lacks the convenience expected from an app experience. The app also feels too simple and junior for young adults. I’ve reached out to our bankers to explore access to the standard Investec Private Banking App (which I really like) - not because we need all additional features, but because the user interface and navigation are far more suited to a young adult. The current Youth App seems better designed for users under 18. If access to the Private Banking App isn’t possible, I’d strongly recommend developing a “Young Adults” app.. a light version of the full app - targeted at the 18–25 age group - to bridge the gap between the Junior Youth App (<18) and the full Private Banking experience (>25). I’d really appreciate any feedback or assistance from the development team. Thank you.

The app is too basic and is too minimal for a youth that is above 18 or even 16. Can you please introduce a more advanced youth app that is less toddler like.

My app started giving me problems with push notifications and after deleting and redownloading it, it does not give any notifications at all. How am I supposed to authenticate transactions or now if transactions went through without any notifications?

No option to order a new card (and Investec does not communicate when the card is expiring). Functionality is limited but this account is available to 25 year olds. No ability to set a scheduled payment or transfer, for example. What is the point of a dedicated app if one as to use other platforms anyway.

Love the app, simple and easy to use. However as of late both my brother and I have been experiencing crashes and can’t even log in. It just crashes with no error message and closes the app. Also maybe consider adding a 1time payment option, it gets a bit tedious having to create beneficiaries all the time👍

Hi I’ve been using the app for a few years now and have never had this issue The app keeps crashing and I need to check my bank account I’ve refreshed it, restarted my phone, deleted and re-downloaded the app It just keeps crashing

Hi, i’ve had the app for a while it works wonders. I do however have 1 issue the three dots are in the same place as the line to go out of an app on iPhone 10’s and up. Sometime the taps don't register and sometimes the app closes i suggest making it to the side or some other place.

The app is good but the UI seems old and there are issues with the screen on the iPhone 12.

love the app usually but lately i haven't been able to login because the log in button disappears which makes it useless. hope they are able to fix that bug soon.

Once entering my details the “Investec ID” and password box mash into one and the login button disappears causing me to be stuck. I have tried phoning support, opening and closing the app and redos loading it and nothing works.
