Tried multiple times- unable to connect iPhone, 14 pro
Unable to connect to the BT device, mind you this is the app that was recommended by the Bluetooth connector. Piece of junk.

Function:
1. Diagnostic
[Read DTC]: Read the current DTC that engine has stored, and show DTC info.
[Clear DTC]: Clear all the current DTC.
[Live data]: Read all the running parameters that related to the ECU.
[Freeze frame data]: When OBD system sets the DTC, it will record the system running parameters related to the malfunction at the same time. And these parameters are called freeze frame data.
[Readiness test]: Readiness reflects the status that all the valid diagnostic functions.
[Read vehicle info]: Read vehicle info such as Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Calibration IDs (CALID) and Calibration Verification Number (CVN).
[O2 Sensor test]: It allows access to the on-board oxygen sensor monitoring test results. The same information may be obtained by the use of [Mode 6 test].
[Mode 6 test]: It allows access to the results for on-board diagnostic monitoring tests of specific components/systems that are not continuously monitored.
[EVAP System Test]: The purpose of this service is to enable the external test equipment to control the operation of an on-board system, test or component.

[Idle mode]: engine rotational speed, water temperature, battery voltage, mass air flow, instant fuel consumption (static), ignition timing, ever wished you had your own customizable gauges, showing only the data you were interested in.
[Cruise mode]: vehicle speed, vehicle travel time, vehicle travel average speed, continuous running mileage, avg. fuel consumption., ever wished you had your own customizable gauges, showing only the data you were interested in.
[Sport mode]: engine rotational speed, vehicle speed, water temperature, ins. fuel consumption(dynamic), acceleration speed, ever wished you had your own customizable gauges, showing only the data you were interested in.
[Performance mode]: engine rotational speed, vehicle speed, power, torque, horsepower, ever wished you had your own customizable gauges, showing only the data you were interested in.
3. Performance test
[Accelerate/Decelerate test]: Test acceleration / deceleration process time and distance.
[0 to 400m acceleration test]: Test spends time from 0 to 400 meters.
4. Settings
You can set units, alarms, coefficient and also customized the dashboard here.
5. History
After record the history data, you can share the record what you get from the car by iOBD2 on Twitter and facebook.

Fails to connect.
Another review that echos what many of the others here have said - the app no longer connects to the dongles making it an expensive piece of plastic. Definitely seems like a bit of a take your money and run kind of deal - noting the app is free, but the dongle to connect to was fairly pricey.
Good scan tool does it work on apple carplay ?
Works great kn all the cars I’ve used it for Just wondering if its capable of being used with apple carplay would be good to have diagnostics etc on the screen on my media player ....
Ok at first, now it’s USELESS!
As the title says. Works ok when on your first couple of trials. Then overtime the app won’t communicate. Perfect waste of money and time. Don’t ever buy this!

It connects via Bluetooth with my iph6&ipad mini, but all I get is "communication failure"! Please update it, need it for my Lexus & Toyota vehicles.
Useless
Assured by the Jaycar salesperson that this app worked fine with their OBD-II Bluetooth and the device manufacturer has this app listed as their preferred app. Bluetooth connects but device scanning feature is constant. Tried using on both iPhone and iPad with no luck.
Stopped working software no longer supports jaycar iob2
I bought the app and a iOBD2 Bluetooth reader over a year ago and the software and hardware work flawlessly! Then today I plugged it in to trouble shoot some engine codes and the software refused to connect to the hardware. As I understand it the developer has stopped supporting third party hardware for their overpriced proprietary readers. I can't believe this is fair as the app use work perfectly!! If I could leave less than one star I would! This is garbage!! I've paid for an app I can't even use!! Not happy!! 😡😡
It's Free and works well
Just started using with the dongle I bought from eBay... No problems connecting to device on iPhone and from app. Dashboards work well. I like the custom dashboard, can add my favourite gauges in the order I want... This is version 5.3 so can't comment on previous versions people complained about but I haven't had any issues with this version and can recommend...
DOES NOT WORK WITH JAYCAR
Will not work with JAYCAR OBD2. Tried several cars and will not connect
No good for Diesel
Firstly it's very expensive compared to other modules, especially that is doesn't tell me much more than what the cars dashboard already does. The WIFI version is very slow to connect (have to try 3-5 times before successful). It drops out constantly or freezes, especially when you change view in the app. A lot of sensors are not supported, or when you add sensors no reading is shown. The unit stays on when not connected to phone or car on, (checked iOBD2 an hour after turning car off and it was still very warm to touch-winter time). Also no updates from manufacturer for Diesel Forester so no improvements to the issues and lack of functionality.
