Find and share your next destination!!

iOverlander is a database of places for overlanders and travelers. It includes camping, hotels, restaurants, mechanics, water, propane filling and may other categories. Details are listed for each place, including amenities, photos, date last visited and GPS coordinates. Search our listings or browse on a map!

In addition to finding places, you can add new places, record your trip, and share places with friends or other travelers. All of these features will work offline, except you will not be able to view the map.

Just a question

I’m using iOverlander since years and I love it. I’ve always used it in combination with Maps.me-unfortunately since the last update of maps.me it’s not an option anymore. Is there a possibility to add organic maps (it works like the old maps me) to the list of apps where you can transfer the coordinates to? Thanks for your work, Ben

We used this app for our journey from Panama to Alaska and half way back! The app is great. You get all important information.

Keine Empfehlung!!!!

Haben die App in Italien benutzt, durch Empfehlung eines Blogs. Absoluter Müll. Man kann sich nicht auf die Angaben verlassen. Der angegebenen Stellplatz existierte nicht, stattdessen befanden wir uns in einer (Camper ungeeigneten) Einbahnstraße aus der wir nur mühselig wieder rauskamen. Die App ist wieder gelöscht! Absolute Enttäuschung.

Stürzt ab

Die App stürzt leider ab sobald ich auf Map, List oder Check-in drücke

More travellers should use that great app

We are saving every wild camping spot on our way to support the other wild campers. Our list of visited places gets longer and longer. We need more active users here to list more places!!!

Think it needs to be updated

Awesome app! But does not work too well with dark mode (does not actually) on iPhone X.
