Description
This is our legacy app. It is no longer maintained and is expected to be retired in early 2025. Check out our new app, iOverlander 2, also on the App Store, for lots of great new features and improvements. Both apps run on the same database, and can be installed together.
iOverlander is a database of places for overlanders and travelers. It includes camping, hotels, restaurants, mechanics, water, propane filling and may other categories. Details are listed for each place, including amenities, photos, date last visited and GPS coordinates. Search our listings or browse on a map!
In addition to finding places, you can add new places, record your trip, and share places with friends or other travelers. All of these features will work offline, except you will not be able to view the map.

Filter options
Would be great if I can filter on places where tents are possible. I find it super difficult to find cheap spots to camp with a tent (wild camping is not allowed in Spain). So yeah would be great to be able to filter on that on here. Also would be nice if you can add spots to favourites or make collections or something.
My check-ins aren’t shown on the maps after two weeks
When we come to a special place I mostly writhe a checkin. But it seems the checkins are only visible for me, even after two weeks. My friend has his own account and my checkins are not visible. I did the update but still no check-ins.

Useless because it keeps shutting down
Keeps crashing
Would like to use the app, but it keeps on crashing when I open the map. Hope it’s a bug that can be fixed

Useful app
Only used it during our plannings, useful until now. Would be great if we could save camping spots as favorite and if we could filter out camping spots only for camper-vans
