Doesn’t work
Face scanning step doesn’t work. Just get a loader and it fails before actually doing anything. Tried killing the app and restarting it but no luck

Before you travel, iProov.me enables you to carry out an effortless, secure remote verification of your identity that links your passport, your face and your ticket together. This enables you to use your face as your ticket to travel with Eurostar. On the day, simply head to the designated SmartCheck lane at St. Pancras station, for a quick, ticketless experience. You’ll only need to present your passport once, to the French border police. You can then go about your day and enjoy your trip.
To get started you need to complete a one-time identity check to create a trusted, reusable digital credential. You’ll need to scan your passport and to take a selfie-style video capture with your mobile device.
iProov.me is an opt-in, consent-based biometric face authentication app, which puts you control of your data and assures privacy. iProov.me uses the latest encryption techniques, anonymises and pseudonymises the data and captures only the necessary personally identifiable information to verify an individual. This ensures the enrolled individual can then be granted access at the physical location. Any data you consent to share with the station to enable access is deleted within 48 hours of the activity being undertaken. iProov.me conforms to GDPR and is certified to ISO 27001 for information security management.

Fantastic and fast experience
I was able to skip the peak time queues in London with this handy little app. If only they had it working in Paris.
Can’t find ticket
It says it can’t find my ticket. Whether I enter the booking reference or scan the barcode. Perhaps it doesn’t support apostrophes in surnames - and we are in 2024. No option to report the issue.
A total breeze
I thought this was great! Under 5mins and it was all done. Just scan in the relevant items, add a booking reference for your ticket and that’s it. Looking forward to skipping the queues 😀
Can’t do without it..
Wizzed through the ticket gates, UK passport exit check and then I was taken in front of the queue for the French PAF passport check. Just a couple of minutes for all those checks vs the normal way waiting in the queue…
Dead on arrival
Just a white screen with a spinner. Doesn’t load. Also I read the terms and conditions. They don’t encrypt or mention at all how the biometric data is stored - and the fact the terms are riddled with spelling errors isn’t giving much hope. The app, at least the part that loaded, looks like a teenagers unfinished weekend project.
Didn’t work at Eurostar
Queued at the checkin but it did not work, tried several times but have to leave and use the normal entry so took longer rather than save time. Concept good but not working yet.
Rubbish
Rubbish. Tried entering booking ref and scanning barcode and says no booking exists. That’s 15 mins of my life I won’t get back setting up the ID. So much for business premier
Multiple Travellers
Need to include myself and wife but it seems as if you can only have one profile per phone, therefore no use as she hasn't got a phone!
Not User Friendly
Can not even enroll as it just hangs at the passport screen. Frustrating and not a good sign of a reliable app.
