Description

When a punchy, fat sound is demanded, look no further. iProphet recreates the unique sound of the classic Sequential Circuits Prophet VS synthesizer. iProphet is great for evolving pads, sharp leads and super punchy digital bass sounds. The Prophet VS's rareness and classic digital sound make it a mainstay for those who can find them. The sound is purely classic crisp digital sound that easily stands on its own, but at the same time is the perfect compliment to the sound of analog synthesizers. iProphet brings the crystaline vintage sound of four digital oscillators and allows sculpting them using a creamy and warm multimode filter.
iProphet comes with over 500 presets created by some of todays best sound designers. Use it in Tabletop to compose your music. You can morph the sound of the 4 oscillators using the joystick or the vector mode and the vector envelope. You can also swap presets between iProphet and Arturia's Prophet V synthesizer which allows you to work on the iPad and finish in the DAW of your choice.
iProphet is a Tabletop Ready app. The connect menu allows you to connect iProphet to the Retronyms Tabletop app, giving you an integration with a complete studio environment. Tabletop also features add-ons for more effects and instruments from other 3rd party companies.
iProphet supports Core MIDI, interapp-audio as well as Audiobus technologies for perfect integration. The use of the brands 'Prophet' and 'Sequencial Circuits' is done with permission of Dave Smith Instruments.
Features Include:
- Vector screen with joysticks to mix oscillators and envelopes
- Super flexible Modulation Matrix
- 3 DSP effects (overdrive, delay, and chorus)
- 96 different wave forms to control pitch
- 4 filter types
- Vector envelope featuring loop points
- Unison/detune for beefy sounds
- Full user MIDI mapping of panel controls
- Tabletop Ready app
- Soundcloud seeder (via Tabletop)

iProphet Synthesizer Reviews

Functionally Dead

B456132! on

United States

I wanted to like this synth, but lack of AUv3 means that this app is functionally dead.

Great sounds

Great sounds. Please: get on with AUv3 support. I’d love to be able to use this in Logic.

Sounds good, but changes audio quality of AirPods Max

Shibetar on

United States

Whenever I open this app with my AirPods Max on, the quality of the audio coming from my AirPods turns into some low quality, distorted mono signal that doesn’t just apply to the in-app audio, but the audio coming from the whole system. The only way to fix it is to force close the app, and then restart bluetooth and reconnect.

Battery Hog

VLenin on

United States

Eats the iPad battery, no way to turn it off! And there’s no sequencer! Not worth it, even if free.

AUv3 PLEASE!!!!!

Babble on One on

United States

Neglecting iOS customers… You are fast becoming the Alesis of the iOS world as far as supporting your product users needs go.😔

Looks great, sounds great, but broken!

AlienCrag on

United States

“Save New Preset” function does not work. This makes the app useless to me as I cannot create a sound, modify it and save as a new sound. Can only “Overwrite”, ugh… Wrote product support 2 weeks ago, no reply… Needs AUv3 upgrade anyway. Do not buy. iPad Pro 12.9 inch, 5th generation Software 15.3.1

Love the synth but no AUv3 support.

FTGabumon on

United States

The only thing this synth is missing in AUv3 support. If it had that it would be perfect.

No audiounitsv3 support

ShadilayYoBichOnSaturday on

There is an epidemic of synthesizers not being auv3 compatible and thus being severely limited as options for music production on the iPad. Please fix this. Synth sounds great but it doesn’t play well with anything else.

Migrate to AUv’3 please

I love everything about this program but please migrate this to AUv’3 technology please

I love this for what is and the unique mod possibilities. It can be so much more than a cool semi Cheesy 80s synth I hope everyone digs. Cheers
