Stopped working and no help or fix available
While the app was working it was limited but at least the basics worked and in the same iOS system. I can’t log in anymore through the app so now completely useless and no fix or help available.

Originally got this as I wanted something to integrate across my phone, laptop, and iPad. However, in the past 6 months they fail to sync or when they do, create multiple copies so you end up with three or more entries for each account / login. Frustrating. Time to switch to another provider.
Oh my god. I’m in shock. The developers of this password manager which I’ve never even heard of has so many necessary functions that I have never seen all in one app. It is easy to work with and very user friendly and they offer a 30 day free trial so you can try all of its functions before you financially commit to it. The most important and more unusual functions it includes is the option to provide masked emails, save multiple user identitiy profiles and mask your credit card number. You can also set up cards with a limit to prevent being overcharged or in the case that you don’t fully trust the site or are afraid you will forget to cancel a subscription you only want for a month, you can set up a masked credit card that only will allow for the first payment to go through. It also has a notes section and recovery through email is possible of most of your data but to get the encrypted passwords unlocked you need your preset passphrase which you can effectively erase one it’s been printed or saved somewhere safe. In addition it also has a notes section. Bravo Iron Vest developers! You have created an absolute winner, however I can’t find how much this will cost me monthly once my trial is finished. If you were to improve your app, I do have some suggestions, and my needs are beyond what many other require as necessary. As you realize I’m sure, cybercrime is on the rise and usernames and password managers are a hot commodity for some. I’m a target who has had her devices somehow remotely modified and or have hidden malware which allows my device to be accessed remotely by some old neighbours I used to live beneath. They keep on stealing my password managers by locking me out. It would be amazing if you included an advanced option or for a special paid subscription upgrade to a tier where you included yubikey/other security keys functionality and included a feature I desperately need so that one day I can keep my password manager for the rest of my days instead of having to get a new one or make a new account every time my attackers want to punish me. That feature would be that you were only able to change their original password if you used the registered Yubikey. You could also go completely passwordless if you really wanted to push the limits and include functions that aren’t yet being incorporated into other password managers designed for regular users. People don’t realize how at risk they actually are. I’m a victim of identity theft and fraud and h
TLDR: Believed in Blur-ironvest terrible, no knight, no shining armor. I’ve been using Blur for over 5 years. Even though masked cards didn’t work(only US), and I use a third party password manager(most people can use keychain, anyway) there was some value in the masked email generation. I believe in supporting companies with a good philosophy and so got a premium subscription, valid for 3 years. The transition to ironvest happened with little notice. In fact, I became aware of it only when Blur’s slideover didn’t work after an update. No multitasking, awkward head tilt and switching between apps feels like time rolled back a few years. Naturally, my first thought was to export the data-this requires a premium subscription. Apparently, my premium Blur subscription supposedly ‘expired’. Right. Have to pay to get MY data back from this company I never directly agreed to. Tried to do that, which caused a generic error of ‘failure’. No error code or anything. Now I’m stuck, dependant an unknown entity for my logins, a company which offers masked payments but cannot process mine. Unsurprisingly, no option for in-app subscription. They have to avoid Apple tax, regardless of inconvenience to you. sure, I’ll keep trusting this company/service. That’s sarcasm. New year resolution: arduously change hundreds of account details, one by one. Great for privacy to review a service publicly. Thanks ironvest!
Lost cash for nothing 2x
I love it but i can’t put 5 stars cause i’m blinded from the app white bright style…. please add a dark mode. White app and web page don’t respect user eyes.
Everything is outdated. The guide to limit tracking and increase privacy is old. Use another service folks.
Emails suddenly stopped forwarding altogether, now only a few come through. My internet provider can’t find an issue. Those emails that don’t automatically forward don’t show up when I manually resend. A fantastic app when working as promised. Not so great that I know have to use two mail clients: Blur’s masked inbox and my forwarding inbix
What a rip of a service if they are limiting features to Canadians. This app needs to be kicked off the app store. Don't use their premium service if you are from Canada. I’m surprised that Apple would allow this app in the app store if Canadians can’t use it. Shame on Apple.
Maybe I’m missing something but this app has very limited functionality. Even if you are using the in-app private browser it does not auto fill your passwords so what is the point? Also I would have thought that this app would auto fill passwords across all other apps and the phone somehow - so you don’t have to use the in app browser instead of all of your usual apps. Why not? Two stars only because at least I have a place where all my passwords are stored and synced with my other computers.
