Is It Vegan is a tool for anyone interested in eliminating animal products from their diet.
Simply scan the UPC bar code on the package of any food or beverage product, and you'll see:
Whether the product is vegan, vegetarian, or neither.
A summary classifying the list of ingredients.
A detail list showing which ingredients are vegan, vegetarian, non-vegetarian, etc.
And the original (unclassified) list of ingredients for the product.
After putting each ingredient into a category, Is It Vegan then decides whether the product is suitable for a vegan or vegetarian diet.
Is It Vegan has information on hundreds of thousands of food and beverage products and verifies each of them using a master list containing thousands of pre-classified ingredients.
Users now have the option to upload products, making our database larger than ever!
Notice: Data on products outside the USA is extremely limited at this time. For best results, please scan food products from the USA.

Gut gedacht schlecht gemacht
Die Idee der App finde ich super. Das Problem ist, dass die App für mich nutzlos ist, wenn alle meine Lebensmittel unbekannt sind. Die App fliegt deshalb gleich wieder von meinem Handy. Schade!
Geht nicht
Es findet kein einziges Produkt und ist damit nutzlos... Wohne in Deutschland wäre schön wenn es da ne App gebe...
Good idea but...
This app is a good idea, but I don't know if it works in England. It founds the product, but it doesn't works. Three stars for the good idea and the design, but it doesn't works in Germany. Change it and I'll rate five stars ;-) I'll wait!

Funktioniert nicht, nichts lässt sich einscannen. Man kommt nur auf Werbung zum Appstore. Ziel verfehlt, sechs, hinsetzten!

Die App ist ok, man kann nicht jedes Produkt sehen aber es hilft einem echt weiter.:)
Doesn't work on iPad Mini 2
App opens but any usable buttons are hidden behind Ad's. Means it's just not usable.

für das Ausland gemacht.Konnte es nicht gebrauchen. kennt viele Produkte gar nicht.
