Isle of Skye

This would be bad for a beta test version but inexcusable for a finished product. Played 4 games Every game the first buying round hid prices for first player choosing tiles. Twice game froze and couldn’t restart. Bots turns take ages and often crash game. I love and own the real life version of this but this is terrible. Loads of other better ported games out their like Agricola and Carcassonne. AVOID!

If I had read previous reviews I might have thought twice about buying this, so glad I didn’t. I’ve not encountered any bugs whilst playing against human opponents on line. I took a chance as I had not played the board game before but I will be looking out for it if I ever get to go to another convention.

Game frequently becomes unplayable due to glitches - unacceptable and waste of money

The game is good but the user interface is crazy. And bugs too. Or maybe not bugs just UI issues. Who knows? The programming of the UI is clearly all over the place. It seems finding the right order of clicks leads to bugs.

1. Wouldn’t even download on the iPad so downloaded on phone instead. 2. Local game (pass and play) was so buggy that it was unplayable. It kept mixing up which player was who, then attributed my players moves to my wife’s character, and then didn’t let us add tiles when it came to your turn! 3. Froze after we reported the bug in game 4. In game tutorial actually teaches you how to report bugs... should have seen the frustration coming at that point I think! This looks like a great game. But it is completely not ready. Refund please until you’ve fixed it.

Really like this but frustrated that when playing against an AI opponent the game appears to semi-freeze when the AI player is collecting his points/money at the end of the turn. You can then only access the menu to 'quit' and end the game. If I'd checked reviews before buying I wouldn't have purchased so I can't recommend.

I have enjoyed Carcassonne as a game so thought this would be similar so gave it a go. It is not similar it is better. The scoring dinamic is excellent and the way it has been developed to IOS is also very good. I have just read the other reviews and feel them to be overly critical. If you like playing board games that make you think the this is a goes. Well done!

Very slow animations and no way to skip them - I don’t care where my opponents have placed their tiles. Wants me to log in over & over again - sometimes in the middle of a move. I have an Asmodee account for other games and have never had to log in after the first time. Constantly tells me to check my internet connection when I can get online with other apps/games. There’s no online instant game play so games are played out painfully slowly over days. Forget this... it could be good, but it isn’t. Buy the Isle of Skye board game and download the Ticket To Ride game app instead of this.

It’s a great game and the adaptation for iPad is good, but when playing the AI, it keeps freezing and then crashing.
