Description

The ultimate orchestra sound app for sophisticated musicians by award-winning sound designer Kurt Ader, designed as professional sound module for your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch by connecting an external MIDI keyboard, using the Apple USB camera adapter or another adapter supported by Apple.¹
Listen to the demo videos on our product website!
This app supports Audio Unit, Inter-App Audio and Audiobus for audio & MIDI connections from/to other audio apps, as well as Bluetooth LE MIDI !
iSymphonic Orchestra was designed with the goal to deliver you superb, extremely realistic and stunning orchestra sounds, instantly with the first key being pressed by you on your MIDI keyboard. Just select a sound and you are ready for your live performance or for a boost of creativity while composing new songs. The sounds used in this app were explicitly recorded to fulfill these requirements and involved several months of recording and post processing under supervision of Kurt Ader and included a variety of innovative, new recording techniques. So far these sounds were only available to very few, famous movie composers. Now they are finally available for the first time to everybody. The supreme quality of these sounds, combined with the unique way they were recorded and assembled, gives us confidence that you haven't heard anything comparable as of to date, even not on Mac or PC.

Not bad

Needs ability to zoom into a section of the keyboard.

Sounds like a toy keyboard

Zappa’s Unhappy Salad on

Avoid this product at all costs. The sound of the instruments are unimpressive, have little to no articulation, and are very synth-like. Don’t ever buy the in-app ad-ons either because they are fake sounding and arguably worse than the prepackaged sounds. They also refuse to give you refunds if you are unhappy with your purchase.

Good but not perfect

Me Dj_504 on

The trombones and some other instruments change in tone almost every 3 keys and it end up hurting my orchestrations. Also the drums are horribly laid out.

Very frustrating that USB from computer is the only way to import a file. Why doesn’t it allow you to upload from same device?

Pro and cons

Tanysozi on

United States

I love the sounds but when I export my song the sound halfway play so basically I can’t make music with this app

Love it!

Bus1ne55 on

Best symphonic ios app I have ever found and I’ve tried every music app I can get my hands on. The only app I’ve found that comes close in quality is korg module with purchasing the orchestral dreams pack but that doesn’t have the variety of great sounds this app has. This instantly became my number one app for orchestral samples. Love it!
